Yep. I went the DIY way. I bought my truck used (from a dealer) and adding the OEM TBC was supposed to be a part of the deal, I even had it in writing... of course when it came to that, they couldn't find it, it was backordered nationwide, blah blah... so I took things in my own hands. Four...
Well, yeah. Apparently it's a hack job that interferes with your new truck's electronic and safety systems. Have your miserable sumbitch of the dealer remove it and install proper OEM controller for free (if they cannot find it, buy yourself and have them refund you. There are plenty OEM kits on...
Exactly. I don't understand why people expect to achieve or even get close to the EPA listed numbers driving 80 mph.

I got mine for $28200 (+ tax) with 15460 miles, four months ago. I think my window sticker is and MSRP are identical to yours

It works only through wired connection and only with Android-based head units (which ours are not). Plus it is basically a hack, so you have no guarantee that it won't stop working after next system and / or phone update.

Can't you just switch to FM radio, then plug in and unplug your phone??? Then it'll remember your last choice and will switch to FM when you unplug, instead of XM demo crap.
At least mine does.

For that you need the version of uConnect with navigation and SiriusXM connect. The non-nav 8.4 does not offer any connectivity.
Still, even with the built-in hot spot it is an additional paid service and it's not unlimited either. I don't think you're missing much and it wouldn't solve your...
Well... My truck will shift into 8th in the Tow/Haul mode! Experienced it today towing our 25ft 4600# TT. The terrain was flat and I think we had the wind straight in our back. The truck was in 8th gear quite a lot, shifting down as needed (but not excessively). All temps normal, it didn't feel...
Yep, look the same to me, only cheaper goddamit [emoji2959]
The cutouts have transparent lexan inserts, so I think they'll look good even without lights behind them.
