Yeah I agree.. unfortunately my last 3 Rams have been Bright Silver so if they were there I never saw them. My new truck is Granite Crystal and it shows EVERYTHING... but love the color. I saw a video from a GM assembly line and how they polish scratches right before final rollout and they...
I also had swirl marks on my Limited and didn't see them for a few days until it was sunny. I had other issues the dealer was addressing and they happily paid a 3rd party detailer to polish my entire truck when I took it back to them.
Is the factory cover easy to fold back and how easy is it to remove if you need the bed space? My brother in law has a Bakflip on his 2017 Laramie and that seems similar to the Mopar version. I have heard they are the same but not sure if that is true.
They came on my limited and to be honest you are better off getting amp research power steps. Oem steps are slow and bit more bulky. They don't tuck very clean. I installed amps on my 2015 and 2017 Laramies and they were awesome. Great conceal and from ground to step it was about 7 inches...
It may almost be worth you trying to fix yourself first. Hogring pliers are easy to order. I would have to look at my limited but I believe the seat cover has a zipper on the side. My '17 Laramie did and it made it easy to get the cover off..
I am pretty sure you will have to replace the entire pillar cover for each. Fast way to get part number...look on line at a dealers inventory for a limited with black interior..get VIN off sticker and go to your local dealer. They can plug vin in and look up parts specific to that vehicle...
There are some other threads in this forum about ambient lighting but yes if you have the right dial turned to the brightest setting it turns off the ambient lights even if you have the left dial on the brighest setting. Try turning right dial down one click from highest and pull in somewhere...
I totally agree with you!! You can read some of my other posts on here but I traded my 2017 Laramie 4x4 for a new limited dripping in all the options and nothing.. and I mean nothing beats the feel, handling and amount of detail that went into the design. I have has some minor issues with fit...
@MJP ..A quick update since my last post.. I drove my Limited 4 hrs back to the selling dealer this past Monday and on day one they had it in the shop, completed all software updates and already ordered a door panel, couple interior plastic pieces, LF window seal, and door applique. Luckily...
So just to update from my last post I got my owners manual yesterday and warranty book from FCA and they were the correct ones. Since techauthority could not get me the UConnect manual which was 300 pages I decided to just print it and put in a binder.
Yeah i figured that much out but just thought maybe they had a user defined setting that I missed. I wonder if this is standard on all models with fog lights or just on the Limited? Funny fact.. local dealer didn't even know this was a feature that existed.
I have a new '19 Ram Limited and noticed at night when turning the left or right corresponding fog lamp comes on depending on what direction you turn. This is pretty cool but don't see it referenced in any manual nor can I figure out how to turn this feature off. This feature is usually seen...
I called yesterday to get my owners manual sent also so when it comes I hope it is right. I asked the rep to confirm they are sending me the kit which should include the separate UConnect manual for my 12in screen and she said it is free to dowload but there is a charge for that one and it is...
@MJP thanks..I dont let it bother me much because compared to some of the other posts in this forum my issues seem barely significant. I know my stuff will get fixed (or hope). Every truck maker has the good and bad but when people post the bad it draws folks to the fire like a witch burning...
I just bought a 2019 Limited and to be honest this is the 9th Dodge Truck I have owned since 1998. I have had almost 1 or 2 of every generation. Just traded my '17 Laramie and for the most part I am very happy with the truck but like many on this site I have some general finish quality issues...
