Current application number is 40.1, you are on 34.2
If you swapped your radio then Uconnect stopped providing service to the radio. You can contact Uconnect and give them what info they need from the "new" radio to get your Uconnect services restored or just download the update yourself from...
Replace it all, the module is part of the radio, you still need the rest of the parts as @DRam74 said. You need conversion wiring, screen, bezels, USB hubs, and programming to the BCM.
To get HD radio you need to swap your radio module with one that has HD radio built in.
If this is the factory installed radio you can do it from in settings to update the radio over the air, typically while connected to a wifi signal. If you updated your radio then you need to get the updates from Uconnect then make a USB update drive to install into the USB hub in the vehicle to...
You’ve rolled up your sleeves, put in the work, and made your vehicle what it is today—your dependable workhorse and trusted companion on all your adventures. But what happens when the dealer says, “You’ll need a whole new vehicle to get those features”? Here’s the thing—you don’t need to start...
We see them all the time but rarely do we see repeat issues like this. Our company vehicles never had this type of issue but again we do the repairs so we see if all the time as people are using the service. I don't think its gonna be a yearly repair that will be needed. It was like that with...
Could be a failing HVAC module. Make sure your radio is up to date, you have no stuck buttons on the bezel, and there is no issues with the radio screen causing ghost touching.
Its a known issue with their Sierra Cards. They fail much more often in Uconnect 3 radios, Uconnect 4 like the UAX you have still happens but its much less often. Why they fail? bad manufacturing, bad components or cheap components on the board is my guess.
The chip shortage didn't cause this...
That would be a refurbished or reconditioned unit I'm guessing. As the part number is from a 2019.
Could be old-new stock. We repair these units all the time for dealerships and everyday people.
Yes, when doing this type of upgrade there will be DTCs that won't clear. The vehicle is looking for the original radio as well as the original settings. This is nothing to worry about. These DTCs can be cleared but they will return after awhile.
The backup camera goes into the radio via the 52 pin black connector on the rear of the radio. The white fakra is your AM/FM antenna and the yellow fakra is the XM/GPS antenna. If you have a wiring issue with the back up camera you can check pins 24 Video Signal & 25 Video Common. If those are...
You should be able to connect to your wifi to get over the air updates if the radio is original to the vehicle. If you upgraded then you can download updates from Uconnect themselves or from who you purchased the radio from. We here at infotainment.com provide updates to the radios we sell so...
Updates to Uconnect radios are free, the dealership is charging you for their time and the estimated time to install as if they are preforming labor while the update installs. Go into dealer mode on your radio by holding the Driver Side Temp Up and Temp Down and Front Defrost buttons down at the...
You have a Uconnect 4 unit in the vehicle, that has a 52 Pin black connector, the new Uconnect 5 radios have a different connector style of a smaller blue and green connectors. You need to make or buy conversion wiring to be able to plug in a Uconnect 5 radio into an older Uconnect 4 or 3...
That is the white Fakra port for your AM/FM antenna.
1st option is to take one off of another unit to glue it on to repair this unit.
2nd option is to glue an extension to the module which would allow you to plug in the AM/FM connector into.
We sell the extensions, click here to see.
3rd...
Sounds like your UAX module may be giving or has given out on you. If the screen will not power on and no radio function via the physical buttons then your module is dead. You can try swapping it out for a new one or used one. As long as its the same part number as yours it will be a direct swap.
The port is different on the parking assist module for the front sensors. I see you got our rear sensor harness, we also have the front sensor harness available for sale for HD and DT. DT isn't listed on the site yet but call into our advisor team and they can help you out.
39.7 was unreleased as it was riddled with problems. There is a 39.9 for the UAX but its best to just go to 40.1 as its the last update for all Uconnect 4s including the UAX 12" system.
