So why are there several threads with hundreds of posts on this very site concerning the AC performance? Probably because some of the trucks have an issue. Just guessin...
If you don't have a problem, that's great. But you and others spend an awful lot of time trying to convince us that...
Those of us with the undeniable issue don't care if it's a design, manufacturing or software issue. We just want it fixed. Glad your AC works for you but why cast doubt on the members of the Ram community that have under performing AC? Love my truck regardless.
Yeah the latter does not sound like a good idea. All of the units I've looked at are for home use and go thru the dipstick. May get one so I can use it for the lawn mowers and truck.
Don't know about the 20's but
How do you know there are hundreds of thousands without complaints? I'm really happy for those that don't have an issue but those of us who do are not asking for meat locker conditions. We'd just like mid 40's vent temps without having to hack the ac. If I were...
I ordered my truck from Koons and it was a painless transaction. I did it that way so I got exactly what I wanted on the truck, nothing more, nothing less. So I didn't pay extra for 22 inch wheels or ventilated rear seats, and I didn't have to settle on a color that wasn't my first choice. If...
Just hit 9000 miles on my Ram. No leaks or any other issues except the AC. I use the clamp to fix and I can live with that. Current model Ram is miles ahead of other offerings.
Check out the tube for Project Farm. He has some really good real world tests on all kinds of things and just did one on 70 year old oil. I believe this oil was one of the winners in his remarkable oil testing.
It's more than a few trucks that have this issue. Just search this forum. It starts from the get go. The only way to tell is to stick a temp probe in the driver vent and see what you get. Start with the car you drive to the Ram dealer and see where that is. My wifes Camry was at 38, my...
Discounting the '19 because the 2020 is now available. No reason to discount now for a competitive truck that's not out yet. They are playing catch up to Ram on design, especially on the interior. Looked at the Ford but doesn't compare right now. As to the next model F150, we'll see. I'd be...
He is now dead and someone else is running his site and continues to use his name and image. I liked the guy and used him as one resource in making my RD decision. Never owned a V1 but that design is ancient. Waze has also been very helpful in avoiding radar and laser, especially on interstates.
