I put a Mishimoto on within the first 500 miles. I empty it about 1/2 thru the oil change cycle and at each oil change. You don't need to empty it at the 1/2 point, but I just do. I find the most watery milking looking gunk during the winter months. I live in the midwest so winter weather...
I agree with your message. Still at the end of the day we all have to answer for our actions of the day. I've got a million plus miles logged in semis long ago. No accidents in all those miles somehow. Had my share of oh **** moments, like any other professional driver. Which brings me to...
If your are going to swap tires in the fall, then the Michelin Defender's would be a very good choice. You could also consider a set of Cooper AT3 4S. I replaced my OEM Dueler's with the Coopers. They are an all around great year round tire for me. They are not an extreme mud tire, but will...
Times R a changin, they always have. The buying public, infrastructure and manufacturers are not able to be as nimble as some who are trying to drive the changes think they are. We all for the most part want to do out part. The oceans are warming and emitting more moisture into the...
I bought a Lomax cover this time around. Leightweight, trifold, 60 lbs, flush with the bed, easy in and out. Mine does not interfere with the tailgate. I like it much better than the soft roll up I had on the last truck.
There is a product called Invisable Glass. The stuff just flat works. It will take 2 or 3 passes with it to get the gunk off of your windshield. It will clean it down to the glass. Clean your wiper blades as well, or replace them depending on the results. Use clean microfiber towels to...
Sounds beneficial if all the glitches are worked out and they are reliable. A guess on my part will be that you will see this as an option on high end and upper trim levels as an option to start with. The second step will be that these lights will be required on all vehicles at some point in...
Everybody has a tough time deciding what tire style and tire to put on their trucks. Myself included, just went thru the gauntlet, and made it to the other side a couple of weeks ago. Since you are changing wheel size, you will have to recalibrate the computer anyway to maintain accurate...
When you back it up. Put your hand in the middle of the bottom of the steering wheel. With that hand turn the wheel in the direction you want the trailer to go. Short trailers will turn very quickly. It takes a little more stopping distance, so plan on it. Don't do anything quick or sudden...
I don't have either one of these two choice in my truck. I did test drive a truck with both twice. While the 12" screen looks really cool, I found it to be distracting when driving and making cabin adjustments. I had to take my eyes off the road and look for the touch points on the screen. I...
Its in the housing around the rearview mirror. If you look on the outside thru the windshield into the cab you will see it. At least that is where it is on my 19

You hit all of the major trouble in your post. Some of the first trucks built did have problems. I attribute that to a brand new design working its way thru the assembly line. There is no substitute for experience in the subtleties of assembly of a new process. You can engineer all...
Nice looking truck without a doubt. Enjoy it and have fun with it. These DT's are the most comfortable truck I've ever driven.
I spent some time driving in London and the English countryside a ways back before COVID. It took a couple of days to get adjusted to driving from the right side of...
In a few days at home air your tires down to where you are going to be and then see if there is enough volume and pressure in the tank to charge all 4 tires to street PSI.
You might want to consider one of these. They are pretty impressive for what they are, don't take up much space, and not a...
Anyway you slice or dice it, one of those three in the picture is going to be responsible for the idiot tax that will have to be paid on that bone headed move. What a shame, it was a nice truck.
How about using a very small twist drill that will fit the holes in the seat. Twist it with your fingers. That way the flutes in the drill bit may be able to pull the gunk up out of the hole. A tooth pick may may just drive it deeper in the hole.
