    Turning Circle

Exactly right! I truly miss having an eight foot bed and a fully optioned and comfortable cab. Don't want a 3/4 ton truck. I think a huge market is being missed.

When you read the max payload number and not your specific payload number

Where are the weld points on the frame?

    Cabin filter filled with snow

That is definitely snow in your cabin filter. I've seen enough of it lately to know snow when I see it.

seat cover for rear seat to cover carpet side - dog hair sticks to it like glue

What Dewey has shown. I use the same set up. Put a harness on them and clip them to the seatbelt buckle. They can stand, sit, turn around and lay down. If you have to stop quick, they don't turn into flying rockets.

    Sub-Zero Temps - 2020 Ram Laramie

++1 for changing the battery, If it is getting on in its reliability then really cold temps will find it faster than a battery check in warm temps. I've always found preventative maintience is always less expensive and easier than breaking down in the middle of a trip. These trucks depend on...

    Rear fender flares getting blasted

I put a set of Gatorback mudflaps on my truck when I got it. Set them out as wide as I could, they stick out about 1/2 inch past the fender flare. Along with the full length running boards, not retractable, I'm not having trouble anything near like you are.

    Service Question/Comments

An over zealous predatory commissioned service adviser. These kind make it difficult for everyone on both sides. All you want to do is get the truck serviced reasonably at a fair price. Why does that have to be so difficult?

    Brain fart

Sometimes those O-rings stay on the flat mating surface on the block, rather than come off with the filter. Might explain that quarter inch. You could look at your old filter for the old O-ring if you still have it. If you cross threaded it you would know it, it gets pretty tight long before...

    Phoning Home.

They can download updates. They can upload information from the truck as well. A fact of modern life, good or bad, it's here to stay.

    RAM 3500 multiple electrical/computer issues

Another place to look is under the fuse box cover under the hood. I saw some discussion not long ago about some loose and missing nuts holding the cables on the control board. Intermittent problems like you describe are a nightmare to find sometimes. My last truck acted similar like you...

    Loud horn sound from dash

Might be one of the proximity sensors. I usually have to turn mine off going thru a drive thru. The other two descriptions you give makes me think one or more of the sensors has some dirt in it or they are set to be too sensitive.

No need to change transmission fluid for the life of the truck...REALLY?

My point was and is, my wrenching days are over except for the simple easy to get to stuff like batteries, air filters, cabin filters etc. For those of you who like to do all of your service work, good for you. I was once just like you, but I've enjoyed all I want of it. I know when the truck...

No need to change transmission fluid for the life of the truck...REALLY?

Nope! The proper place for us oldster's is IN the cab, NOT under the truck.

No need to change transmission fluid for the life of the truck...REALLY?

How "hard and what conditions" you use the truck will determine when the fluid needs to be changed. If you max the truck out pulling at limits with a camper, change it sooner than someone who uses it hardly at all. That's the advantage of a dip stick for the transmission, you see what the...

    Tire pressure in winter

I do the opposite of what you are suggesting. I currently am running Cooper AT3 4S, and I have no complaints at all. I run 40lb's in them, and they did just fine last winter here in the midwest. In the brunt of the summer heat I drop them to 36lb's, as they can heat up pretty fast on the hot...

    School me on jacks

I saw another discussion about jacks the other day here somewhere. This style was mentioned, never saw a rig like this and it has some merit to it. Summit Racing has some similar jacks. I like the idea of a jack and jack stand in one unit. Amazon.com: Powerbuilt 3 Ton, Bottle Jack and Jack...

    While I’m being an idiot…

I think a couple of Calvin & Hobbes bumper stickers would be perfect, the wisdom of those two are above all of us mere mortals.

More Aggressive Look But Tame On the Road?

Cooper AT3 4S. I have a set on mine, couldn't be more pleased. Didn't kill the gas mileage, handle very well, quiet for an AT tire. Walked thru the snow and ice last winter without complaint. Rainey roads don't matter. They do OK off road, but they are not rock crawler, extreme mud tires...
