    Retrofitting the 33 gallon tank

23 gallon to 33 gallon swap. Mine is being done by my local dealer next week. 2 year warranty on parts and labor. They gave me a 20% discount on parts. Decided to go threw them in case any issues arise it's on them to fix it. It would have been cheaper if I didn't have a rebel (Longer skid plate...

    Retrofitting the 33 gallon tank

Thanks! @Rammit gave me your contact info. I'll contact you when my tank gets installed at the dealer. They have almost all the parts. Just one is on backorder.

@Rammit Can you please PM me his info as well. Thanks!

    Retrofitting the 33 gallon tank

Yeah looks like it's well supported. I assume I'll need to order the 3rd bracket and bolt for this, as I assume the custom bracket doesn't come with that? Thanks very much for the help! I appreciate it!

    Retrofitting the 33 gallon tank

I see the part that gets welded to the frame. Is that the only part attached to the truck? The part by the driveshaft looks welded to itself, but not to what appears to be the underside of the pick up box.

    Retrofitting the 33 gallon tank

@Tellsch Do you know if this can be done with the new 33 gallon tank already installed? If someone can take a picture of the bracket or point me to it, if it's buried somewhere in here, lol

    Retrofitting the 33 gallon tank

Great, thanks. Once I get the dealer to install the 33 gallon tank I'll look into this extra strap and see if I can get someone to weld it in. I appreciate the info. Wishing I had gotten the 33 gallon tank to start with! First pick up, hard lesson learned!

    Retrofitting the 33 gallon tank

Okay thanks. I looked under my truck. What floor storage are you talking about? That a Rambox thing? I don't have that.

    Retrofitting the 33 gallon tank

@Rammit I'll take his info too please. Does he just ship out the mount, and then you have to have someone weld it on?

    Retrofitting the 33 gallon tank

How long is it taking for all the parts to come in for you guys? I had my dealer order mine (They offered me a good discount). They told me the evap module was on back order, but should get released off back order in about 2 weeks.

    Retrofitting the 33 gallon tank

Thanks I looked into the Alphaobd to familiarize myself with it. Seems like I'll need to download the Alpha OBD to my Android phone, buy OBlink MX+ (or other type), and a SGW bypass like tazor or infotainment as well. I'm familiar with the security gateway bypass. I had to install something...

    Retrofitting the 33 gallon tank

Does anyone know if Tazer can change the setting to 33 gallons? I'm unfamiliar with Alpha OBD. My dealer did say they'd flash the sales code to it for $130. Not sure if it's worth the Alpha OBD, since this is the only thing I want to upgrade. Just irritated that I got the tow package and the...

    Retrofitting the 33 gallon tank

I highlighted two parts that share the same part number. Do you know the correct part number? Look like the skid plate is the wrong one. Also after a search online I'm finding that the 33 gallon tank is part number 68408875AE and also listed as 68408876AE. Just wanting to verify parts before...

The PPF should minimize the damage and it should pop out pretty easy if it is on a flat surface. Black looks amazing! I've always loved black, just hate cleaning it! lol. Ceramic coating will help a ton though! I wasn't sure how much difference it would make with a color like white, but I was...

A little update and amendment to my top post. After doing some research I've modified my plans a bit. I've installed the Mopar wheel house liners, a truxedo soft cover for the bed, and I'll be getting in Tyger blade running boards tomorrow. I love Mopar stuff, but can't justify the price half...

I looked at a TRX and I could have gotten one eventually (too many mark ups at the time and I won't pay MSRP or above), but decided I wouldn't use it in the dunes like its meant to. Instead decided to split my goals a bit and bought the Rebel and a Can-Am Maverik X3 Turbo for dunes and trails...

I went with a company called Ceramic Pro, so whatever product they use. They use Kavaca PPF.

Fits well in the garage! So far I love this truck and the ceramic coating made it all that much nicer! Did PPF to the hood, fenders, headlights, and rockers. Next stop, tint! Enjoy the pictures!

Thanks everyone! I bought it Monday, and I'm getting it back today from Ceramic coating and PPF. I'll try and post some pictures when I can.

I was likely going to get a Tonneau cover too, just forgot it on the list lol. I'll look into those other mods, thanks!
