Umm no I did not talk to anyone and yes you can absolutely “just run numbers off a website”, that’s exactly what you do with Zeigler, plug in the info and promo code and whammo, no phone calls needed. $1340 total
@securityguy
Just ran a quote on both...8/85 with a $200 ded.
Moparservicecontract.com was $2560 vs $1340 for Zeigler. Are you saying Mopar will come down to $1340 as well?
Glad it helped, the promo code has long been talked about on this forum.
Transmission/rear diff would still be covered under the 5 year/60,000 powertrain factory warranty, well after the 3/36 expires.
I’ve got 3.92s and regularly got slightly above 20MPG hand calculated on our 3000 mile road trip last summer. In daily suburbia driving I’m between 14-15. Honestly, from what I’ve seen from 3.21 owners the difference is very small, we’re all discussing minutiae here. (But that’s what makes this...
Zeigler or Clay Robbins are the go-to places for Mopar extended warranties, you won’t find prices any lower than those two. With Zeigler, make sure you use the promo code PAYINFULL for $365 off the purchase price.
Regarding the money back extended warranties, it seems like a good deal but...
Buy new dude. The prices are good and like everyone else says, the used car market is so jacked up that the prices are within a couple grand or so from new.
Bought my 2019 Big Horn brand new in October 2019 for $38,700... off of a $52,900 MSRP. It’s loaded with everything except pano sunroof...
Anyone having this issue? Happens about once or twice a month.. no button works after startup. Then after a couple minutes it reboots by itself and works normally.
2019 Big Horn.. 15,900 miles. 4 issues all resolved under warranty.
1500 miles - master brake cylinder went out, replaced.
3000 miles - tranny got stuck in 3rd, valve body replaced.
8000 miles - dreaded rear window leak. Replaced rear window
10,500 miles - drivers side mirror was vibrating...
Of course it can break anytime. But statistically, if you have two owners where one off roads constantly, tows constantly, basically runs the truck much harder than the other who avoids all those things, the second owner will most likely have fewer issues. Just basic mechanics and statistics...
Your post made perfect sense right up to this last sentence. Don’t tell Dave Ramsey that 😁 NOTHING is ever “free”... and those two stimulus checks can do you wonders and net you many thousands more if invested properly instead of sinking them into something that “might break” while yielding you...
HAL brings up some very good points and I agree with everything he says. unfortunately it’s turning this thread into a “I bought one so screw you” vs “i didn’t buy one so screw you.”
That should have never been the point.
Extended warranties are very much a personal decision. I bought the...
Correct, damaged would obviously not be covered. I specifically asked them, hey are these things covered when they go out (service life expired?) answer - NO. it’s gotta be a specific failure of the component.
Like I said... call the Zeigler folks and ask them. You might be surprised at the stuff that isn’t covered which I thought was at first, and the conditions that must be satisfied for those things to be covered. It really is not a true “bumper to bumper”, yes it is better than no coverage. But...
I put that on here simply because I had talked to the Zeigler folks on the phone asking very specific questions about what was covered, and there were some surprising things that weren’t covered. For example, the LED headlight/taillight assemblies... fully covered under the factory warranty but...
Even the full MaxCare is not a true “bumper to bumper.” There is stuff in there it doesn’t cover that the factory bumper to bumper does. Keep in mind these Mopar “extended warranties” are not really warranties at all, they’re service contracts for a defined period of time/mileage.
That said...
