Food for thought. I had the WeatherTech in my last truck and they wore out where my right heel rested on the floor. I went with the OEM all weather mats this time and really like them. Cheaper than WeatherTech also...
That's the one. I really didn't look into it. I just asked the salesman how much I had to finance and he said $30K. I didn't really care because I knew I was paying it off. Maybe it looked better for the dealership if I financed more.
I'm curious as to why it was a mistake for him to pay cash for the truck. Do you think that if he financed through FCA or his bank or credit union he could just stop making the payments until his truck was fixed to his satisfaction? That's not going to work out well for someone if they tried...
Check this thread: https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/how-much-did-you-pay-for-your-extended-warranty-canada.7189/ I think you will find post #37 very informative, You can also search "extended warranty Canada" and find other threads that may be helpful.
I bought the 8yr/100K miles, $100 deductible on my Limited. My previous truck was a 2010 F150 Lariat. I spent over $3600 in repairs on that truck and it didn't have half the technology that my new RAM has. Both of my previous Dodge pickups (both Dakotas) has numerous repairs after warranty...
Here's something you might want to consider. I use it and it saves a ton of hassle. https://www.amazon.com/Hopkins-17529-ArcticGuard-Universal-Windshield/dp/B00F5VX3U8/?tag=td-windshield-covers-pcr-20
IMO the $55K is a great deal. But..... what's in the extra $4.5K on the out the door price. If it is mostly tax and license then it's a good deal. If they are adding a couple grand in fees then not so much. When I ordered my limited in March of 2019, the sticker was $67.5 and I paid $57.5...
Don't think so. I asked the questions when I bought my extended warranty because it doesn't cover etorque motor or battery.
From the Ram Warranty book:
5.1 Federal Emission Warranty
A. Parts Covered For 2 Years Or 24,000 Miles. Federal law requires FCA US to warrant the following emissions...
An upgrade from a 5.7 Hemi to a 5.7 Hemi with eTorque is $200, but the battery pack alone is $10K :ROFLMAO: Don't think so. The dealer is blowing smoke.
You already have the Dee Zee so if If I were you I'd get the spray in and then put the Dee Zee back in. Then you have the best of both worlds, like having a spray in with a bed rung on the floor.
With all the crap going on right now, we need a laugh once in awhile. Full disclosure: This is my 3rd Ram/Dodge truck but my previous truck to this one was a Ford.
Thanks, I learned something new. Because of your thread, I looked it up. We also have something else I didn't know we had:
Electronic Roll Mitigation (ERM)

I should have worded my response differently. It will print the entire thread. Except, for some reason, it is limited to 13 pages. so it won't get all of a longer thread. Here is an example (I did print to PDF)
