You are one of the lucky ones. Measure your vent temps at as low as you can get them and let us know the numbers. Before clamping my hose, the center, drivers side vent would blow no cooler that 52 - 53 degrees. After clamping, it’s around 44 - 45 degrees which is much better.
I love mine. I swear it sounds better now than when first installed. Deep, throaty rumble when taking off, and then it mellows down in the upper gears. But if you get on it for passing, etc., it wakes back up.
I’m sorry but Ram Care is useless on this issue. They open a case for your complaint but nothing happens despite the case being open when you go to the dealer and they tell you it’s within specs, or it was low on refrigerant and we topped it off, or there was a small leak and we fixed it. And...
I’m in Central Texas. It’s getting hot for sure. About 97 today. I have my hose clamped shut and it’s blowing about 44 - 45 degrees out of the driver’s side center vent. Prior to clamping, it would only blow 52 - 53 degrees. I don’t use the Max or auto setting. I have the temp lowered to...
Very nice. Enjoy that beauty. Everyone knows that Billet Silver is the most powerful and fastest of the Rams. ;) I just put Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my Billet Silver Longhorn. My truck's not leveled or lifted and the 285/60r20s fit nicely. I mention this because you said you're coming from...
Looks good. I plasti-dipped the badges on my 2015 Mustang GT and that stuff held up pretty well. Still looked good four years later when I sold her a few months ago.
Thanks. I think you'll like them too. Just a heads up, there is a slight rub up front, but it only happens in reverse and when doing a full lock turn of the steering wheel. The guy at Discount Tires showed it to me and what's happening is the edge of the tire barely catches part of the...
Not lifted or leveled but I just swapped the street tires for Nitto Ridge Grappler 285/60r20s. I'm liking them a lot. I think they look good on the truck and the ride is as good as, if not better, than the ride on the street tires. And the increase in road noise is very minimal. A few pics.
A little more tire porn. Stock Longhorn. No leveling or lift, and stock wheels. Again, 285/60/r20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I kind of like the raked looked.
Another pic of the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I think I've correctly reset my speedometer for these slightly taller tires using the Pulsar. The tires ride very well for an all terrain tire.
