I’m trying to change my filter, Neurobit. I can get thru Step 3, but there’s a tab/blocking thingee on the left side of the glove box that doesn’t let the glove box fall down. And I can’t get my hand/fingers in there to release the tabs on the air filter holder so I can access the old filter...
Watched the video and the Armor Flex does look good. And seems durable. Another thing I like with the 2.0 is that it locks down pretty securely. Not saying someone couldn't tear into it, but they couldn't just lift it up. I suppose most of the folding covers are like this too though.
Weird looking like this? :) One of the reasons I went with the 2.0 was because is sits on top of the truck bed and is very solid. But I know others like a more low-profile look.
Looks good. I also prefer a 20 inch wheel. I'm running 285/60r20 Ridge Grapplers on mine and I like them a lot. Minimal increased noise and a nice ride. I did lose about 1 MPG though.
I'm running 285/60/r20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my OEM 20 inch wheels. The truck is not leveled or lifted and it doesn't have the off road package. The tires do rub against the plastic wheel liner just a bit in reverse when doing a full turn. I could trim the plastic piece with shears, but so...
Another satisfied Pulsar customer here. No issues since I put it on a month or so after I got the truck and I keep it in Performance mode because it's just more fun than stock. There's actually a video link somewhere on this forum of a couple who had their '19 Ram dynoed before and after...
Lost about 1 mpg, maybe a bit more, when I switched to Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/60/r20 on my non-leveled and non-lifted Ram. Averaging about 16.5 Here's a couple of pics.
If you can find a 2020 on the lot that suits you, you can test the AC vent temps yourself during a test drive. i wouldn't take delivery of one without testing the temps. Just a thought.
No. It's not leveled or lifted. I do get a little bit of rub in reverse when the steering wheel is turned all the way. For example, when backing up out a parking spot. The tires hit a little bit of the plastic wheel liner when fully turned in reverse. I could trim the plastic a bit, but is...
We have similar taste in vehicles. Bought my Ram in February and sold Ruby a month or so later. I miss her but the truck is probably the nicest vehicle I’ve owned. And I’ve owned a bunch. Enjoy your Ram. :)
Thanks. Those of us with subpar AC are interested in the vent temps so we have an objective, rather subjective, opinion of the AC. Many of us have had to clamp off our heater hoses to obtain tolerable AC performance. For those of us with the issue in our 2019s, the driver’s side, center vent...
