I specifically wanted the 3.92s. Now that I have a very fast car in the garage next to the truck, I wish I had went with the 3.21 for better economy. Either way the truck is slow as hell and I never push it lol.
I can't even tell my cheap one is on there.... and I am super OCD. I wonder how long he kept it on. I had a few large diameter shallow bubbles I couldn't get out. They were gone within 24 hours.
I don't have anything useful. I actually had to drill out the connector points for the physical cover. I think if the RightonBrackets cut out a notch maybe a .5" or so, this would allow the rails to sit where they should.
it was the brackets. I removed the painted bolts and then had to be very precise to get the cover to fit. There is absolutely zero room for error. This is with BakFlip G2. In the end the brackets and cover are on though.
Went to install mine and it pushes the rails 1/4" together where the brackets are, so my BakFlip G2 will not fit. Anybody have this issue or find a way to overcome it?
I think everything is outlined here. My 2013 Ram towed a pair of Sparks so well I forget they were back there after a 1500 mile trip. Nothing like doing 95mph and realizing **** I'm towing!
As far as the actual towing. Take the trailer to the boat ramp at an slow time and just practice. 11am on...
Had a little rubbing last night. Went into a parking garage with a 6'8" clearance so was driving around in entry/exit mode. At near full lock I heard some rubbing. Took a little wider turns and I was fine. The amount of driving I do in entry/exit is so minimal I am not worried about it.
The issue is so little I doubt they will make a large fix. Based on the picture above the issue is pretty slight. I understand being picky and want perfection, however they probably in a tight contract with the vendor for several years that this issue may fall in the margin of error and it...
No you are not. I won my case on something 50% of the population probably could not experience. If there is an issue, they can't fix it, and you can prove lose of use or value - you will win. (At least in FL). You will also be entitled to get a new truck up to 105% of MSRP of your old.
