Top is the old one, bottom is new. They both “work” the same (phone connects as an ipod but no CarPlay).
What baffles me is why it worked for a few weeks then quit? Doesn’t make any sense. Oh well
Not a lot.
The entire console gets unbolted and scooted aft. There are 6 bolts. 4 are obvious under plastic cover caps (2 on either side of console). 2 are hidden under the plastic trim elements that exist between glovebox/steering column and console on either side. Pull these trim elements off...
You can actually feel it when stopped as a sticky spot in the wheel rotation just left of center. Super concerning on highway when it “sticks” mid way through a left curve and you have to gently unstuck it as the road straightens out. Mines gradually getting worse.
Anybody know the part numbers for the bulb covers/caps (high and low beam)?
The tape I used to seal up the holes I originally put in these is giving up... now I’m seeing moisture in my headlights.
Looks like mopar.com doesn’t have part info for 2019 vehicles yet.
