Have it on my Alfa Giulia and it works great. Probably because I don’t have it on my Avalanche, I always look over my shoulder anyway. Maybe with the new Ram (once I get it) under my butt I’ll graduate to full automated mod. . Then again it never hurts to take that last look to be sure. It’s...
Ordered my Bak Revolver X2 from Tonneau Factort Outlet. The sales guy Morrie highly recommends and is pretty helpful. As others have said he likes to talk, lol. We had a great conversation about products, and everything else too. . Anyway I prefer the regular vinyl finish (not matte) that’s why...
Guess either way if your truck has recalls, your going to be without it while it gets corrected by the dealer or the factory. I had read that active recalls would be completed when the truck got to the dealer on trucks built after the recall was issued. Hoping for my build that means that any...
Per the Bak Industries website, the weight rating is 400 lbs. I’d imagine that refers to a total distributed weight. Found it under the x2 specs. Seems it’s only the exterior vinyl that is different x2 vs x4.
Tonneau Factory Outlet. And Morrie is one of the customer service guys. The revolver seems to only partially block the lower portion of the rear window. From the photos I’ve seen it looks like the rolled cover takes up a bit of the open area of the bed behind the rear window. Think the flip...
Yes roll up style with aluminum under the outer cover. Highly recommended by Morrie at TFO. Weight capacity? Not sure, have seen 200 lbs. written someplace and saw a pic of two people sitting on one, they did look pretty skinny though the Bak website might have more info. Or TFO. As others...
So...aside from getting the 2 vs the 4...
What’s your impression of the revolver? I’m leaning that way. I don’t even have the truck yet! Still in D1 status. Lol. From the photos, I like the look. Seems like it fits nice and flush.
Hey! The Avy has been an awesome vehicle. Kinda hate to part with it, but it’s time. I checked GMC, Chevy and was unimpressed. The new Ram styling and features sold me and the reviews seem good too. So, I jumped!
I spec’d the truck for order because as you say not many available w/RamBox.
So...
Checked out the GM multi function tailgate at the Philly Auto Show. Ehhhhh, had some functionality but gimmicky IMHO. Not really enthused about the mid seam Ram gate either. Ordered my Limited a week ago.
So here’s a tailgate idea......
Anybody remember the old Chevy Station wagon design...
Have a 2013 Avalanche that is being traded on my just ordered Crew Limited.
Have had a BedRug in it since new. Awesome product. Nearly indestructible, makes the bed interior look finished, stuff doesn’t slide around, sweep/vac/wash out easily. I’m NOT happy that BedRug does not have a...
Any update on the Extang solid fold? Lots of folks seem to be going the Bakflip route. I ordered a Limited with RamBox and I’m trying to decide on a cover while I wait for the truck.
