I doubt that very much, I read another story that covered this, and they stated that FCA was careful to announce that the engine was designed for use in pre 1976 and off-road use vehicles only.
Although the author did go on to say he would imagine it would find it's way into technically illegal...
I had the same thoughts you did @Savagescott before I bought my truck. I really considered a 2500 just to be safe. After doing some thinking and research, I ended up going with a 1500 Rebel. I just didn't think the 2500 was practical for everyday driving. I have the 3.92 rear, etorque combo, and...
That looks awesome @Kaydee! It is very similar in appearance to my old '14 sport. I love the small touches of chrome on otherwise painted front end. Very sharp. They should offer them that way from the factory.
I also use a Pixel XL, and have had no issues connecting or using Android Auto. My wife's Galaxy S7 however, will not connect. It gets an Android Auto device error every time. Someone else posted they had issues with a Note 8. I am wondering if it is a Samsung issue.
My console has the same annoying squeak. Doesn't bother me as much as my wife. I'm not so sure I want to be beating on it to "fix" it though. I am glad to hear some are getting it replaced and that works. I will be bringing this up at my first oil change also, thanks for the info.
Wow @VaderRebel, that could have been a lot worse. I know it sucks, and I would be sick too, but it can be fixed. Glad you were OK. I was never a fan of running boards or bars either on any of my trucks, but the Rebel sits higher, and my wife insisted on them. Now that I have them, they are...
2700 miles on my Rebel w/etorque, and still loving it. Had the no sound form Uconnect issue one time at about the 500 mile mark It went away after a shutoff and restart. Haven't had any issues since. I have been on two trips of over 300 miles each, one of them towing my camper, and other than...
I have had this happen several times to me as well. I'm sure I have upset a few people when I quickly flash them back to show I'm on low beams. The head lights are very bright.
That is the best explanation I have seen yet. I asked several dealers, and none of them gave me that kind of information on the etorque system. The sales brochures don't even come close to explaining it that well. As a side note, I was told by several, that the battery pack is covered under the...
Yeah, I have to agree. My '14 had great backup lights, and the camera was clear and bright at night. The new '19 lights are dimmer, and the camera isn't anywhere near as nice at night.
I know what you mean. I never had the V10, but I had a 2000 sport quad cab, with a 360 in it. I absolutely loved that truck, but the rust got the best of it also. Door bottoms, rockers, rear fender wells, bottom of tailgate...
The mattress heaters came standard with the camper, and we use them if we have hookups.
We go to Vermont camping every year in October. You will love it, especially this time of year. It's so relaxing up there, well, at least once you get past Albany!
We also go to Maine camping every year...
@devildodge, the ends on this are different then popops. They don't slide in, they are hinged at the bottom, and fold up like a murphy bed. the canvas is also permanently attached and sealed on most of the newer ones (2011 and newer), so water doesn't get inside. There are no bungie cords at the...
@DeanKing if you are undecided between a popup and a travel trailer, you might want to check out a Hybrid. We have had one since 2013, and absolutely love it. We owned a popup before that. It is the best of both worlds, You get the conveniences of a travel trailer, and the tent beds of a popup...
My Rebel came with the Mopar mats, so I can't comment on price. But I can say I had the WeatherTech liners in my 2014, and they were no where near as nice as the Mopar mats. Fitment is way better on the Mopar ones. Plus the WeatherTech liners were a lot lighter material, that over time, started...
Thanks for the welcome. Yes it will definitely be pulling the camper in the picture. Looking forward to it actually, as this truck is more than capable to haul it.
As for the 2" lift, I never really thought about it like that, but you are right, with the Rebel being 1" higher to begin with, it...
