    AlfaOBD

Just updated my ‘19 12” with PR 39.7 (previously LR 34.2) and added the Off-Road and Performance pages. I started the engine and left it running for the entire process. Using a 16GB Sandisk formatted to FAT32, the software update took about 23 minutes as others have stated. My pickup has...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Installed the OEM bed lighting kit ( Part # 82215272AC ) on my ‘19 1500 and used AlfaOBD to reprogram the BCM. They’re not quite as bright as the LED strips I had under the bed rails of my ‘13 1500, but I wanted the OEM look/feel with this one. The latching on/off switch on the driver’s side...

    AlfaOBD

This. I bought the PC version first and made multiple backups of the stock ECM configuration, both locally and in Google Drive. It’s handy being able to pull up the stock configuration on my iPhone and having it side by side while making changes. If you own one version of AlfaOBD, you can...

    Sirius bit rate ?

Long-time iTunes/Apple Music user here. The only times I’ve ever had Sirius XM is during the free trial after purchasing a vehicle. I have always downloaded my entire iTunes library to my phone (currently ~ 18,500 songs) and use it as my primary music player. I have unlimited data, and will...

Rear Fender liners white clip part number

Reviving an old thread here but just wanted to share my experience. The part # 68499020AA mentioned earlier in this thread is either incorrect, has changed since it was posted almost 2 years ago, or maybe I was just sent incorrectly packaged parts. I ordered part # 68499020AA from MyMoparParts...

    Reverse lighting upgrade

Here’s my setup. Bolted the lights directly to the bottom lip of the bumper. Used a 7 pin extension harness to tap into the reverse signal on the trailer harness instead of tapping into the factory harness.

Apologies for potential redundancy.... maximum tire size that can fit without rubbing on 21 Laramie Sport (no level, lifts, etc.) with 275/55/20 ?

Does your pickup have the Off-Road Group?LT275/65R20’s fit on my stock (for now) 2019 Laramie Sport with the ORG. It did rub the inner fender liner slightly on the front passenger side when in reverse at full lock to the left. Used a heat gun and pliers and bent the area of plastic liner back a...

    Auto dim high beams

You can enable as many features as you want in AlfaOBD. Just only make one parameter change at a time, then finish and restart the procedure cycle. You can also disable the fog light dropout feature (under CBC Features) so that the fog lights stay on with the brights.

    Alpine speaker upgrade ANC question

The rear doors get a full range signal in the Alpine system. I actually tapped into one side for the high level input signal for my subwoofer amp and it works great.

    Sub Location Ideas?

I took a different direction than most. I’ve got the Du-Ha storage box and modified the Atrend 10” sealed box from my previous ‘13 crew cab to fit inside of it. I had to trim about 6 inches off the right side of it and reseal it to fit inside the Du-Ha. It actually fits quite nicely and still...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Just installed the OEM bed step ( Part # 82215289AH ) on my ‘19. To anyone who is on the fence about shelling out the $$$ like I was, just do it. This thing is built like a tank and feels rock solid when standing with all of your weight on it. Highly recommend.

What did you do to your Ram today???

Thanks! There’s roughly 3/4” clearance between tire and UCA now.

What did you do to your Ram today???

I’ve definitely been on the fence between circlip location 4 and 5. I see loads of pictures of ORG’s with the 5100’s at #5 but hardly any at #4… As it sits now, with the toolbox fully loaded, I’ve got 2 3/8” of rake. I also plan to install either a grill guard or full replacement front bumper...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Got new tires mounted today. Went with LT275/65R20 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT’s. They fit great with no rub on my ‘19 with the Off-Road Group. Now I have to patiently wait for the Bilstein 5100 shocks I ordered to come in (ETA in March). I plan to install the Bilsteins at circlip #5 and replace...

What did you do to your Ram today???

I tinkered around and got familiar with AlfaOBD. Disabled fog light drop out and signature lighting and set the amber turn signals as the DRL location. Very impressed with the software configuration capabilities. Parking lights on (headlamp switch in first position): Running lights only...

    AlfaOBD

Needing some help, fellas. I'm trying to activate the DRL's when the vehicle is in motion, but prevent them from coming on when the engine is running and transmission is in park. Does anyone know if it's possible to get the DRL's to trigger on only when the transmission is shifted into gear...

I'm in the market for a new radar detector

I have zero issues with false detection from the windshield camera/light sensor. Using Vortex Radar's recommended settings makes this a very quiet but extremely reliable detector.

I'm in the market for a new radar detector

Sure thing. I used the BlendMount BMG-2001R. A bit pricey but you really do get what you pay for in this department IMO.

Rear wheelhouse liners: protective, or just for looks?

Rear wheelhouse liners were the first mod I did after buying my pickup, as I was not a fan of how it looked without them. They do offer decent protection from rocks and debris, but not nearly as much as having the area bedlined, as others have mentioned. Got mine from Rock Auto back in April ‘21...

    Rain guards / vent visors

I’ve always preferred the AVS with 3M stick ons vs. in-channels. Had them on my ‘13 for over 7 years with no issues, and they were still holding on strong when I traded it in. Here they are on my ‘19.
