I don’t know where to post this but the Maui dealership fixed everything. I still think the tires are junk but that isn’t their fault, my buddy back in Colorado put these on Advanta Hp-z-1 on it. They look fine if you want a sports car looking tire on your Ram, and that’s it. They suck and...
I slam the tailgate shut, if I don’t I get the warning. Doors are easy to see not fully closed, tailgate not so easy. Rams, like all new vehicles is a computer that happens to have wheels. Temperamental on a good day and annoying on a bad day.
If you want a 2019 Limited I’m putting it on the market. Fully loaded 4x4 crew cab. It was originally was from Dallas, my favorite dealership bought it at auction and I shipped it to Maui. Garage kept, looks like new. Black on black and the dealership is replacing the windshield and repairing...
Decades ago I thought Goodyear was a quality tire company but at the time all new Land Rovers came with Goodyear Wrangler HP’s, pure junk on every Rover I’ve owned. Now I prefer Michelin however my options are limited for my Rover in the stock size, 255/55-19. The Ram has some cheap new tires...
Dealership got me a rental again, the parts are in so the pinion bearing and seal to be replaced, the windshield, something caused my active cruise control to fail on the way, and an odd idle issue that started on Monday. It will fluctuate between normal and maybe 300 rpm.
Picked a Jeep...
If it makes the OP feel better, we had a medical emergency for our son and my my wife backed out of the garage before the garage door had fully opened. Put a a dent in I guess you would call it the D Pillar, but most of our Land Rover is aluminum and not an easy fix. I was quoted 2K to fix it...
Many moons ago I worked in sales at a dealership in Colorado Springs for both new used. New I didn’t make much money, as even 2003 people were savvy enough at best I would make $250 for a new car, while used was better, actually much better. Anyhow, I was the salesman that was interested in...
One of a handful of ways to manually lock the garage on the off chance you don’t have a garage door opener, or the opener completely fails for some reason. Mine is simpler and just one side, but I’ve seen your style as well. In your case, I’d remove the components but keep them just in case.
Given the higher end Rams are pretty much all LED, there must have been a reason they didn’t do it for third brake light and cargo lights. I was going to switch mine over to LED, but I’ll pass and stick with the stock setup.
I’m not going to hold your hand on this one, but take a look at psychrometric charts available online and you will see. Your temp gauge is wrong. Nothing Ram can do that would defy physics and somehow allow your truck to work in some mysterious way. Probe thermometers are relatively cheap...
Not to mention people forget that the weights given don’t include fuel. A full tank of gas can be an extra 198 lbs as well assuming a 33 gallon tank.
Will you get away with overloading the truck? Most of the time the answer is yes. Should you do it? The answer is no.
Buy a different temp gauge, physically impossible to have 33 degree discharge temp. I’m an A/C guy and will have to find my charts showing wet bulb/dry bulb, but Florida is hot and and humid enough this can’t happen. My charts are in Colorado and I’m currently in Hawaii, but come October I’ll...
Lots of things can cause battery drain. Not on my Ram, but a Chrysler 300 I owned would not start unless driven every few hours, turned out the amplifier for the stereo wasn’t shutting off.
I don’t disagree with the results that you guys/gals have seen, but this should be addressed by FCA, not swept under the rug. Make louder noise with your dealer and social media.
If it makes you feel better I’m a Land Rover fanatic. I purchased my 2006 Land Rover LR3 new and still have it, with original airbags for the corners. I’ve had to replace the compressor and 3 valve blocks, all of which were easy and I did the work. Now the LR3 has 156K miles and still rides...
