it looks like you are on the right track if you have an Alpine system as the front speakers door locations receive a low frequency from the amp and not a full range signal. However the speaker you linked is a 4 inch mount depth I believe only a 3.25 depth will fit the stock locations.

I have the same issue. If I try to start out slowly ,for instance out of my driveway the pedal dosen't seem to echo the input and will surge. it is annoying.
