I use this in the bed but it would work well for groceries too, and you can get smaller versions of this type of organizer that are very similar. Collapsible, lighweight, adjustable inside, all kinds of pockets on the outside and ends, handles if you need to move or carry it, good size but not...
Thanks for the tip. It just occurred to me that I have a bottle of Jay Leno's Tire and Trim, which is supposed to be good for plastics. I may try that before I buy something different. Works pretty well on the tires, giving it a fairly matte finish with a little bit of shine. Will let you...
Well you seem to have had your share of issues...sorry to hear that. But you also seem to have a pretty good attitude about it. You must have gotten one of the first ones based on the the April-2018 purchase date. Maybe that's part of the problem but I guess there's no way to know.
At any...
Talking about the fake vents and scoops on the front sides and back near the windshield. If so, do you use the same stuff you use on other exterior black trims? Like 303 our other? Or do you use something different or "special" for these?
Exactly! Thank you. And I wonder what that 600 would've been in the 70's if we'd had the internet back then. Not necessarily a bad thing, as it could've gotten the word out about legitimate issues more quickly. Probably would've been 1200 or more, lol.
I just noticed this on mine last night. Weird thing is there is a little slack on BOTH cables, even with the tailgate all the way down. If I put my full body weight on the tailgate, it still doesn't take up the slack. Should I be worried or is this normal? What's supporting the tailgate if...
I needed the same thing and bought one of these last year. Couldn't be happier. Lighweight, adjustable inside, all kinds of pockets on the outside and ends, handles if you need to move or carry it, friction on the bottom so it doesn't slide around, good size but not too big, has adjustable...
Thanks, very interesting. Since mine doesn't have E-torque, I still wonder about the impact of manually stopping and starting the engine as mentioned in my OP.
I think it's adorable when a wife/girlfriend does something like this for us. For our wedding anniversary, my wife just surprised me with a BedRug tailgate mat , lol. She's a keeper, too.
Congrats, man!
Mine doesn't have the auto-start/stop (let's call it "A$$") feature, which is fine. I had it on my 2017 F150 and had mixed feelings about it. However, Ford says (and I assume other manufacturers do the same) it had a heavy-duty starter and battery to compensate for the extra A$$ cycles.
My...
You know, I've always had to do this with numerous past vehicles, as instructed by the manual. This Ram is the first one that didn't require it. Even though the manual says you have to use the learn button, mine didn't require it. I just went through the first part of the steps where I'm...
Very interesting. Who would've thought they'd use a gradient-style font for this. And why would they do it on some but not all? Oh well, doesn't matter. Like you said, it's a small thing.
I think this touches on a big part of the problem with these types of survey-based reports. While we all know there are and will always be legitimate, statistically significant problems with any manufacturer, many of these are based on perception and ignorance rather than facts. And the...
Nothing major, just put one of these on (just the tailgate mat...already have a Dee Zee thick rubber bed mat...no spray in bed liner).
Wifey got it for me for our anniversary. It's the little things... :)
Edited to show the actual picture vs. a stock photo.
My first day trip last weekend (all interstate) yielded 18.5 mpg (per truck computer) on a round trip from Evansville, IN to Simpsonville, KY and back. Probably 250 miles total. Gently rolling hills, good weather, not much wind, set cruise at 75 mph most of the time, tires set at 40psi cold...
So did you mean 5 on a 1-4 scale, meaning you are at the insanity level? Or did you actually mean 4 out of 5, like 80%? If it's 5 out of 4, I'd like to hear what you've done, are doing, or still planning to do with it. :)
You may be right, but the GM version doesn't seem to be overly complex to me. I could be way off base here, but it looks mostly mechanical with electronic switches only to open things. The Kicker stereo part could be a weak spot but it's optional. Time will tell, of course.
