My screen is inoperable so I leave the Navigation open so I can see where I'm driving. I don't actually use it for navigation so I can't speak to that but the one thing I've noticed is I get frequent (falst) alerts for speed traps. I don't know where they get the info that there's a speed trap...
So I had another incident where both truck batteries went completely dead overnight. This is the second time it has happened. No idea what causes it. In a bit of a joking way I thought maybe this was just their way of calibrating the batteries. Let them drain dead and then charge them full...
So once you set the map/tune it stays in there until you change it. That’s assuming you don’t disconnect the tuner itself.
I keep it in map 1 and don’t notice any hard shifting or anything. Just spools up a little faster than normal.
I’ve run map 2 a couple times and didn’t notice any hard...
so just for fun I loaded map two, which is supposed to be for 93 octane and above. I did a non-boosted four-wheel-drive start and this is how I would characterize it:
The engine is sadly slow until the turbos spool and once they spool this thing kicks! Holy cap did it take off like a rocket...
Nope. Part still on back order with no eta. But don’t worry, it has an “expedited” request. Whatever the F that means. I asked why they can’t just take a part from the assembly line and they said they are “different parts from different manufacturers.” I don’t know anymore. They offered to...
In regards to the power increases, that’s running E85 fuel. Power gains for 91 octane are much more modest. Having said that, I bought said tuner and it is noticeably peppier in everyday driving. I have no plans to run 93, e30, or e85 to really take advantage of the tuner.
This! On my Ford it just does whatever was on last time I turned the truck off or if I remote start it defaults to high. With no physical buttons to easily adjust the levels it drives me bonkers.
On a side note, with my truck screen currently not registering touches, I figured out I can use...
So I got some new tires today and they are a little bigger than the stock ones. My screen is still non-responsive and the dealer still has no eta for a new screen. Because Ram decided to make the ride height buttons digital instead of physical, I cannot adjust ride height using the screen.
Does...
when I hooked up to just the main battery it would not let me start it. I had to hook up a second jumper to the little battery before it would let me start it.
so I came out to the truck this morning and it was DEAD. Had to put chargers on both batteries to get the truck to start. Drove it around for a while and charged up the batteries and everything seems to be functioning normal. Very weird that out of nowhere it just went dead. I’m going to be...
I wonder what happens when I don’t click install (because I can’t)? Will it just install itself? I sure hope so!
For reference, it was previously suggesting I install the update. Now it’s saying it “needs to be” installed.
