I love the look of the wood panels, but...don't you have spiders? I don't clean my walls continuously, but sometimes I clear the cobwebs. Spiders also leave all kinds of stains.
Anyway, great look. Perhaps you can show off a more complete view.

I'm interested in knowing the performance gained by the engine mods you have. Did you report on them previously? Do you have and dyno evaluation? You've had some serious work done!
Today was an installation day with The Abyss. First was the LUYED LED reverse lights. I used the 5-pin CURT harness, marine solder connectors ( heat-gun activated solder/shrink wrap, effective and easy), and probably 9 zip ties to secure all the wiring. Everything is clean and out of the way...
I knew the whole time I was doing it that I should've taken a few pictures of things, like squeezing in the supplied grease, the location of the bushings on the bar so you don't waste much grease sliding them in place, and the end link bolt and nut, which are a little peculiar. But it's...
Dogpatch, just the 7709. I don't know the circumstances in which a Ram might not have them and need them in the other Hellwig part number. I pulled the OEM bar and put the Hellwig in its place. Simple. The only "difficult" part is working underneath. I had my rear on ramps which made it...
So...I know it's popular and lots have done it, but...I installed my Hellwig 7709 Sway Bar last night, and I must say, what a tremendous upgrade!
I bought it a few weeks ago but didn't make time to install it. Then, last weekend, I drove to Asheville, NC. If any of you have driven I-40 east...
I heard folks in the MSRP thread saying they were getting what they paid 2-3 years ago when trading / selling, because of the used car / electronics crunch happening right now. You had a $4K deficit, still pretty great.
Did you ALWAYS get 22 mpg highway? My 2021 Laramie isn't doing that well...
Did you use T-taps? I feel a little better corrupting the wiring here since it is not exposed to weather like underneath the truck. I still prefer not touching OEM wiring at all...but...the functionality is excellent if going the same route as you.
Same, on the mess. There's still so much oil in the system above the filter even after a seemingly full drain. Once the filter is off the fitting, it drops everywhere. I may try draping a towel or plastic sheet over the axle there, and just let it run down.
While the mess is disappointing...
Two questions!
1. Where did you attach the LED lights? To the bed wall, or underneath the tie down rail? And if to the bed wall, how did the spray liner texture affect adhesion?
2. Can you describe how you connected them to the factory bed lights?
The High Technology Group was the major addition for 2021. Heads up display and rearward camera ported to the LCD in the rearview mirror. Given current conditions, I doubt you will see anything more technology based. I've heard people talk about a UConnect 5 upgrade? But there are no rumors...
Thanks, I do have what you call a Y harness, from the mfr CURT. Unfortunately, the one I bought only duplicates 5 of the 7 trailer harness wires. I originally got it for aux reverse lights. At that time, I planned to tie in with factory wiring for the LED bed lights. I have the OEM bed...
I agree. Summit Racing was my first price reference. They are now higher than before, but not as high as Amazon's current vendor, "Advance Cycle Parts". Walmart.com was still cheaper.
The Camel site is pretty cool!
