I installed the Gator fold up tonneau cover and Mopar bed & tailgate mat today. I can take pics of the mats if someone’s interested in that. One thing I noticed is that the tonneau cover came from Truxedo but it’s a Gator. They must license them.
I feel ya. It’s a lot of work getting it done but I really like the end results even if it will only last for a few days. I think a lot of it is just getting a system in place. When ur moving all over the place like a chicken with it’s head cut off, it always seems like it takes forever to get...
Thanks for the reply. I may give it a shot some more with the clay. I like Turtle Wax products and the soap I use is the pink ICE snow foam wash. It can be used when hand washing too. What about that as a clay lubricant? Thanks.
I’m wondering about something similar myself. I washed my truck last weekend when it was cloudy. Half way through the sun came back out and I ended up with water spots on my windows and parts of the paint (hood, right side bed).
I clayed all the windows with a 50-50 mix of purified water and...
This isn’t really answering ur question, but have u ever considered leasing? Since u said ur looking to trade in every three years now. That way, you’ll never worry about how much value ur vehicle has or if ur upside down on a loan.
You could but like Jeffjad said, u might as well wait. I put mine over the factory seal and it’s been great. It has rained very hard the past few days and it’s still completely dry inside. I think the seal is slightly cheaper at Lowe’s but I got mine at Ace Hardware for $10.59.
Just an update on mine since installing the auto & marine weather seal on the 3rd brake light last week. It rained like a MFer earlier today and still not one drop inside.
I think I posted this before but I leased my 2020 Ram Bighorn crew cab 4x4 with the Night Edition package, level 2, Premium led package (msrp $51,850) in November of 2019 for $405 per month for 36 months. Which includes 10k miles per year. That was with zero down/ out of pocket and the dealer...
That’s what sucks about comparing deals on the internet. Someone will always seem like they got the better deal but as long as u feel like u got the best deal you could have at the time, that’s all that matters. Now u know a little more info for next time.
I agree with that. I’m glad the bigger seal has seemed to work for me. I shouldn’t have had to do that but I would’ve spent more in gas money for the rental, plus my time for the hassle of a replacement window that might not have even fixed the issue. I suggest anyone that has a leak mainly in...
