Looking at the Ram website, any mention of rebates or subvented financing for any trim level is no longer showing 6/1 end date. Everything is listed as good through today 5/17. Seems like everything does end tonight. Crazy times. Anyone trying to buy a truck after today is going to be in for...
Interested in a used market update? My best friend owns a used car dealership, he just bought a clean, well optioned, 2007 Silverado 1500 4x4 with 140,000 miles at auction for $15,000. There is no way in hell he can sell the truck for a profit at that number, he would need to list it at $19k...
Do not turn in your lease without checking what Carvana, CarMax, or Vroom would pay you for it. In this market your cash value could very well exceed your residual.
Also watch out for the UP TO discount shown on the Ram website. They are showing automatic package discounts on the sticker as “savings” included with rebates. Sorry Ram, but that’s not a discount I will give you credit for. MSRP is MSRP.
Well the Trucks are still being built.. Unlike Ford. My Nephews Ram is built and awaiting outside installation of running boards. Five weeks from confirmed order to assembly.
With the limiting of 0%/cash back to 48 months, anticipate the outright removal of 0% after the 18th. Honestly in this market any subvented financing on trucks is completely unnecessary, and I couldn’t fault them for dropping it. Business is business...
Chevy is offering no subvented financing...
Looks like the national incentives have been lowered again. 0% with cash back. $1500 BigHorn/LoneStar, $500 All other trims, limited to 48mo. 0% stand alone is up to 84mo. Offers end early on 5/18 so obviously they are hedging further reductions. Additional regional incentives may apply.
Seems solid. If it is not already factored in to the deal, be sure to take advantage of at least the $500 TrueCar private offer rebate, and if they qualify, the Bonus Drive $250 rebate after the sale.
Be sure your friend is completely aware that if financing with a Credit Union there is a catch...
That dealership knows exactly how the system works. It is in their own self interest to play dumb and be certain that you do not get the 0% financing. If a customer gets the 0% subvented rate, that is a killer for the dealerships F&I back end gross. It is pretty standard that dealerships will...
Aaron has a few Laramie 4x4s on the ground in Lake Charles. This one caught my eye at $11k off MSRP.

It is absolutely impossible to make an intelligent forecast. The market has been disrupted in more ways than anyone in the industry could have dreamed. Covid-19 forced dealerships to severely cut staffing a year ago when the shutdowns hit and sales tanked, EVERYONE in the car biz was certain...
Ok, if you are ordering, you do not need the access fund or tread lightly or any affiliate code to lock in the price. They are not rebates. Just inform Aaron that you will qualify for it and have the code at closing. Having the supplier code allows Aaron to add money to his dealership discount...
On a limited? It’s 0% up to 72mo PLUS $500
offer code Bonus Cash 20CM5. There may be additional offers available based on where you live, but for my neck of the woods, this is currently the offer.
There is no such thing as a good deal on something you ultimately do not want. Wait for what makes you happy. If it turns out you have to wait for the ‘22s, well, ok.
