Picked up the switch for ACC at lunch today, so I will get it installed and see what happens later today. Apparently my cheap tablet doesn't support the newest version of alfaobd, so I'm hoping I don't run into any issues or missing settings. I guess it's time to upgrade to a slightly less cheap...
This morning this happened to me for a second time. Both times it has happened I was slowing down to make a turn as other's have stated. Went to hit the gas and the engine was off. No warning lights or anything other than the shift to park message. It has also come close to dying on me several...
See the photo below for each door. I don't think you will have any issues with the clips as they are pretty tough. I had my panel on and off several times and never broke one.
Can you post a photo of the piece you're talking about? If it's part of the door harness, it likely doesn't have a standalone part number and is included with the harness.
I am still waiting for it to arrive at the dealer. He said it would be about a week to get it in, so I am hoping I should have it in another day or two.
If you don't already have the DASM which controls the FCW, ACC, Lane Keep, etc... you'll need that along with a new windshield, abs module, hydraulic control unit, switch for ACC, center stack with lane sense button, along with the alfaobd program, obd reader, and a SGW bypass. It's a pretty...
That looks like it’s for the HD’s. Check the thread linked in my signature, I’m pretty sure somewhere in there is a link for one that Jimmy07 recommends along with the one from infotainment.

If it restarts at a light while you are still sitting there it can catch you off guard if you're on the brake very lightly. But it shouldn't really be jolting you forward that hard. Mine is so smooth most of the time I have to actually look down to see that it shut off.
In order to make any changes to the BCM you will need alphaOBD (windows or android), an OBD interface, and a SGW bypass. Without the bypass you will only be able to view current settings. I only changed 3 settings related to the lane departure as I was only trying to see if it would enable that...
I agree it would make sense for them to just have one set of parts to do both jobs. I wonder if the whole COVID situation that’s affected other parts led them to just standardize HCU’s across the board. I should’ve looked at a base model bighorn yesterday to see if it has the same part number as...
If it doesn’t work, I’m really curious as to what else would be different seeing as the Limited I looked at with the safety group has the same part number on the HCU as us. Only thing I could think would be if they used that one standard on all the 21’s, that maybe the ABS module is different...
I used the updated part number provided by Jimmy07. They change revisions so frequently it seems, that as long as the numerical portion is correct, the revision (letters) aren’t that big of a deal.

Hoping it is as simple as the switch and BCM changes. Removing the wheel isn't that difficult, there are some good videos online for it. The most important thing is to leave the nut on a couple threads so if the wheel comes off rather quickly, it doesn't rip out any connectors. If you use a...
Ordered the switch for ACC and should have it in about a week. While at the dealer, I asked the parts guy to look up the number on the HCU on my truck and several others on here; it didn't even come up in StarParts. So we looked up what should be configured on my truck from the factory using my...
You should be able to add the switch on the wheel for ACC and not enable the settings for lane sense. The question is whether or not our current ABS module and HCU will work with ACC.
It uses the DASM to control everything, which is basically a camera/radar sensor. Check out the attachment in the original post, it details all the functions of the DASM a few pages down.
I'm gonna add the ACC and lane sense if I can ever find the right center stack. I think the FCW is standard on the Laramie's for '21, there would be no point in having the DASM in your truck if it wasn't.
Not sure. It would be nice to have some data on the ABS parts to see if they support ACC or not. Jimmy07 believes it should since it works with the FCW system.
