Not on this truck but I did on my Gen 4. I had a bed mounted tool box and put it in there. I just ran large cables straight from the battery and fused the + cable in case it ever shorted. I was running a big ham radio amplifier at the time which is why I did it.
Smell of it. Coolant and tranny fluid smell very differently. If you have a dip stick for tranny compare the smell. Also feel of it, tranny fluid is slick and oil like. coolant is not.
Griots is generally a VERY high quality product. Are you sure you didn't use too much or something like that? All the others such as Adams are good too, but I would be shocked it Griots was the problem.
Did you check again a few hours later? Several have reported it takes a few hours for everything to work again after the update. I think everything on mine worked after 4hours. I was at work and when I left for lunch 4 hours later everything was fine
I too looked at both Limited and Longhorns. I ended up with a Longhorn and here is why. All Limiteds have a lot of carbon fiber looking trim inside that just didn't suit me personally. If that is your style then you may like it better. There are DIFFERENT Longhorn interior colors and some of...
If you are looking for something to put on exterior or interior black plastic that won't accelerate the UV damage look no farther than 303 Aerospace protectant. The problem with many of those plastic dressings is they contain petroleum distillates that actually INCREASE the damage. 303 is...

I checked and mine does not have that information on that screen. Instead mine gives a GPS screen where I can look at the signal strength of each satellite and two other information screens with a drop down.
I think the color match is great and I am very happy with it so far. The only bad thing is that I am a journalist working on a magazine article involving my truck and now I have the cracked rear window frame. So now the cap has to come back off so they can replace the window
I see some people are showing a screen on the NAV that shows miles traveled, average speed and several other data points but I cant find it on my 2019 Longhorn with the 12" NAV. Can someone tell me if that data is available on my NAV screen? If so how do I get to it?
So am I correct after reading all 5 pages of this thread that
1. Almost all trucks except one is reading miles perfectly?
2. One person had a 50 mile discrepancy
3. There is a start up sequence in the odometer that makes everyone think the ODO is advancing but its not.
Is that it?
I dont know where these people are buying oil above at 6-7$ a quart but I pay about $24 for for 5 quart jugs. Then the filter is about $6 at Walmart etc. I insist on doing all my own changes to prevent the idiots at the dealer from leaving on the oil oil filter rubber gasket etc and having oil...
