I pulled a 7K bumper pull trailer around 200 miles and the engine temp didn't change much from normal. Trans temp went up maybe 5 degrees. Thats' with 321 gears. I did use tow mode and locked out 7th and 8th gear. I do have to say the down shifting and engine braking was awesome.

That's kinda cool. I swear when I used Rough Country programmer to change my tire size to fix the speedo that it changed my splash screen to a generic "1500". Where it used to say the trim package of my Ram.

Alpha only allows "edits" of certain factory options. With that said, the only factory alarm on the Rams is the horn/lights notification via an open door. At least to my knowledge. I would assume your notification from Sirius was when you reached through the open window and opened the door.

Do yours make the rubber trim/weather stripping look bulged out too?

I don't see what washers on the outside of the bed would do to make a stronger bond. It would just make an awkward job that much more so.

Can you detail your crisis? I am about to start the install. Did you go through the top or the fender liner?
