Btw, I emailed VLED and that's what they said to do. They said some vehicles you have to put it on the bottom to avoid this. So I went out and did that myself in about 15 minutes. Had to drill two new holes for the bottom in the plastic on the RAM, as there are no holes there originally...
I have a small platform ladder similar to the one linked below. Lightweight, folds up and hangs on my garage wall, and is awesome for washing the top of the truck and other projects...
I should have specified I said "ONR" (which is actually a specific brand, and excellent) instead of a rinseless wash. There are many quality brands out there. Like Jtr mentioned.
I've always had black vehicles and only ventured slightly off to max steel this time around. I have done sealants in the past, and put a ceramic on myself on the Ram. Hand wash each time. But the real time saver is using ONR for all those light dirty episodes or times it got rained on, etc...
Really tough to narrow down when those swirls appeared. They might have done a crap job on correction, or worse yet used a glaze to give the appearance of correction until you did your first wash. Alternatively they might have done a fantastic job and you caused the damage yourself with your...
Fellow Iowa sinner here in avoiding the ethanol if possible. Frustrating I can't get 89 non-ethanol anywhere. I'm considering doing the 89 ethanol and adding 3 ozs of Bell Performance Mix-I-Go with each 33 gallon fill up.
I love my air suspension, but yes, they should offer the Limited with coils as well. More options is always a plus in my mind. Just like I'm still surprised that other truck manufacturers don't offer air suspension as an option. I test drove two top of the line F150s with my wife and they...
Your simplest and quickest resolution of this will likely come by finding an attorney willing to put the pressure on them. I'd lawyer up immediately and get this resolved.
360 camera and Ramboxes for me. First truck with the rambox and I don't think I'll ever be without them on a truck again. Just incredibly handy. This past weekend I threw our fishing poles and tackle boxes on one side (with fire extinguisher, ties downs, and first aide kit as well). Other...
I was against the knob when I bought it. Can't say that it has completely won me over, but I don't really think about it anymore I guess. I'd prefer a column shifter, but have zero problems with it now that I've grown used to it. I do think it helps that it feels more substantial than other...
So far I've just thrown them laying down in the bed. However, if I'm hauling other stuff simultaneously I would like another option as well. I'm following the thread to see other people's solutions.
Not necessarily. Check with your dealer. Many of us had the rebates at time of ordering "locked in" but could take advantage of better rebates at time of delivery if they changed.
Email your dealer everything you want and ask for their best offer on a POC. That will list every option that will be on your built order and also show the discounts, holdback, employee pricing, and then what their actual offer is. I requested these all through email from various dealers...
