I added 1mpg improvement when I switched to a Green Filter. Not a fluke, it was repeated over multiple 2.25 hour trips on same route in addition to my normal city commuting. And I track on Fuelly, so I know what I have got since day 1. I'm at about 16K miles now.
303 Leather and 303 Aerospace are my preferences. Griots Interior Cleaner is really well liked by most people, but it happened to discolor carpet on my wife's car when I used it so I've never tried it again. Really odd since it is regarded highly by most
Ha, I've gone two winters on my current tires and I'm at 15 or 16K miles overall. I'll probably wait another year before I decide to buy some A/T. I'll be watching and reading everyone else's experience in the meantime to help decide!
I'm considering the Continental Terrain Contact A/T. Dealer says it is by far the most popular choice they have people get and have heard good things. Good reviews on TireRack. I want the best highway ride, but some modest snow/mud/dirt capabilities. Ill be interested in what you end up with...
I decided to take off the first application of Cquartz I put down over a year and a half ago and reapply Cquarts UK 3.0 and layer with Gliss on top. The process was:
Wash with Reset, use Tar-X to decontaminate tar and remove Reload, wash to neutralize
Clay bar, Polish with Reflect and Honey...
Had a Bronco in high school and love the looks of these new releases. I wouldn't be using it for true rock climbing stuff that is being debated on here, so that stuff doesn't really concern me. The 4 door option suddenly looks like a competent small SUV compared to the mini-van looking market...
They are full of crap. My Limited does not pull to the right. There is no "design feature" for noticeable pulling to the right that causes abnormal tire wear. GTFO. Might need an attorney to call their bluff unfortunately. See if RAM Cares can help first.
Funny, that one came up on a FB ad last week and I bookmarked it. I do notice you linked to a slightly different one than I had saved. I am considering this one for crew cabs by the same company. You choose the driver or passenger split so the seat fold up is correct for your truck...
Honestly, probably a very small difference if any. It won't likely make much of a difference for most of us, as we don't push the mileage between oil changes. But for what it is worth, I believe the PUP touts slightly better cleaning abilities and better friction reduction...
Yes, I am letting the dealer put in Penzoil Platinum as part of my three free changes with a Mobil 1 filter. I'll switch to PUP and the Mobil 1 filter after the last free one.
This is good to know. I've been pleasantly surprised with mine through 15K miles, but have been eyeing the Contiental Terrain Contact AT tires as replacements. Looks like that might be sooner rather than later, probably make it another year is all
There are many, many, people who have and love their air suspension, with zero issues, myself included. You will always find some people that have had poor experiences and swear you should never ever buy it. Just because your truck has air suspension does not in any way make your alignment...
I'd be contacting Ram Cares again about your unnecessary expenses caused by one of their dealerships clearly not helping and possibly making worse. See what they can do for you about the costs. For the record, I'm at 15K miles and zero issues with alignment. I don't think it a widespread...
I ended up putting less than a half a yard, so around 600 pounds. Was more nervous about the load of rock raised above my truck, lol. Now I need to get gravel out of my rails and ram box crevices.
Lol, well, yes...it would be. But does that mean my math was right? I recognize how dense the question sounds. I have 5 different threads open from 5th gen currently. It seems to me like the take away is that payload gets eaten up quickly and I'd be better off getting a trailer and putting...
So am I reading my tire and loading sticker correct on this? Mine says combined weight of occupants and cargo should never exceed 1337. Assuming me and a buddy go to pick up the rock and we weight around 337 combined for ease of math. If I'm going to get rock put in the bed, I couldn't put...
