Who tested the battery and said it was good? I had two auto parts stores test it and say good. Dealer did the full testing someone else recommended in this thread and confirmed it was bad. What did your dealer say?

I used the PC DA polisher for a couple years until it sheared off while using it. Lucky to have avoided some major damage. I replaced it with Griots and like it better all the way around. I know I was the anomaly, but I personally think porter cable just isn't the company it used to be from a...
Hi there! Well you are much more a Dutchman than I then. :) Family history traces to Friesland.
The dealer replaced my battery and I haven't had any issues at all since. I went out and bought a good battery tester to keep on hand and periodically test it during winter months particularly...
Dealer said battery was bad and when the voltage gets low enough the computer shuts the transmission down (something to that effect). They replaced battery under warranty. I'm still shocked that a dying battery means it might take you out of drive into neutral while driving...seems like a...
Dealer did a proper test and said battery was bad. Replaced under 3yr/36K warranty. Fingers crossed that resolves it all

So judging by both your comments and Richard's, perhaps a new battery is in order. I assume dealer will do a proper battery test

So came out to a dead battery on Tuesday in my driveway. It is bitter cold in Iowa, so I chalked it up to that and not driving it for a few days. Charged it a few hours and it started.
Drove again on Thursday. Started ok. I had a weird issue when driving where it said to shift to P and choose...
What I meant was I had it in 4WD auto at the time, and if it shifted to neutral, I would lose the additional power to the wheels helping it steer on snow while I was turning that corner. That's how I understand it at least, but I could be wrong. The indicator still read "D". I didn't try to...
Appt on Monday. The service advisor certainly sounded concerned. I've good luck and service from this place, so I'm cautiously optimistic that continues.
Were you moving at the time? That's what worries me the most. Dangerous if driving and it just locks up like that. Wont always be able to safely coast/brake to a stop and renegage. I was turning a corner at the time, on snow. Not ideal to lose power to my wheels.

Driving home from Walgreens tonight in town and I hear my engine rev while I go around a corner. I look down and the screen says "shift to p then desired gear." I had to actually come to a stop, switch to P, and then back to D. It went right into D and I drove the next minute home without...
Well I'm in salty Iowa, where the roads are white all winter with either snow or salt. Personally, I'd get the fluid film or similar oil based product on sooner rather than later. I used Fluid Film last year and this year used the slightly thicker and less smelly stuff called Woolwax. I...
There are many who will tell you that you will get used to the regenerative braking feel on here. However, you already drove a vehicle for 7 years and hated it, so I doubt you will get used to it. I personally hated it when test drove the etorque and made sure I didn't have it. Only you can...
Is there a star case or other troubleshooting info I can bring my dealer on this one? Has @RamCares been able to provide assistance to anyone? This seems like one of those issues where I could save the dealer a lot of time and effort (and thus maybe increase the chances of them not blowing me...
Taking this in myself for the chirping next week since I"m getting an oil change. It is on the my left front end at very low speeds, typically when I hit the brake. However, I have got it to do it when just sitting in my driveway with my door open and rocking the truck. I also noticed that...
Honestly if you aren't comfortable doing a ceramic yourself, but still want ridiculous hydrophobic properties that last a year or so AND is idiot proof to use, you should check out CarPro's Gliss. I used Gliss as a topper over my Cquartz, but it can be used as a stand alone product and it might...
I posted another thread of doing it myself earlier this year with Cquartz UK 3.0. Definitely is worth it to me if I am the one putting it down, as that makes the cost break out to more like 200 hundred dollars max accounting for the ceramic, decontamination, etc. I would never spend 1,500...
