The spacer that comes with the kit is just a big flat washer. You actually need the 1/2” rubber type spacer. I believe you add a . 5 after the part #. I talked with Timbren directly to get the correct part # for a 2” level.
I don’t even know the timbren kit is on the truck, didn’t effect the ride at all and keeps the front end up when the plow is in the up position so much less stress on the front suspension
I have a Motofab 2” level in the front and a Timbren kit also in the front end. I only plow my long driveway nothing else so with the factory Bilsteins, level and timbren kit front end is not getting beat up.
Just ran into this today, ‘19 Rebel, 20,000mi, no prior problems, went to start truck to go to work and nothing, charged battery, best I could get was 7.7 volts, replaced with new battery, all good now. First battery I have changed in 30 years.
I run stock rims and 34” Nitto’s in the summer and run the stock Duratracs on Mopar steel wheels for winter . Live in Western NY and the Duratracs do real well with all the snow we get.
Running pressure below 46 psi will set off TPMS lite, Rebel comes with 10 ply from factory and can only have a 20% difference from the recommended pressure listed in the door jam. I run my Nitto’s at 48 psi frt and back.
Measured center of wheel arch through axle centerline, visually obvious rear was lower than front on driver side only, coil springs installed correctly, hate the front end high look.
I also run a plow at work, 8’ on a 3/4 ton. Was a little nervous about putting a plow on a 1/2 ton until I found out the plow companies make 1/2 ton specific setups. I only do my driveway, very long paved flat, and nothing else. Very slow and easy when plowing.
Yes, SNOWAY makes a 1/2 ton specific plow setup for the 5th gen ram. Much lighter weight than the 3/4 ton setup. I only plow my driveway, no commercial , didn’t want to beat up my truck. Easy install, plug and play wiring, no cutting up factory wire harness, down pressure when needed and...
Had to notch skid plate, weight is approx 450 lbs, had the SNOWAY dealer install, bought the plow used for $1800, the truck side wiring and mount was $300 and dealer charged $350 for install, All in about $2500, less than 1/2 of a new set up. I already have a Motofab level so the truck only...
