The Mopar lift is a safe lift and is backed by a Ram/Mopar warranty. Plus I feel it’s the right amount of lift, especially with a family and dog. As far as I know, 2” is the only lift height I know of put out by Mopar. Thats not saying it won’t change in another 5 years.
My lift ran me right...
Another option is 285/65/20, which is what I'm doing on my stock night edition wheels with 19mm offset. Also have the 2" Mopar kit. Tons of posts on 285 vs 295. 295 is a little bit of a craps shoot, since not all tires measure out the same and you may run into UCA rubbing issues. But 285 I...
I saw these guys heading in a fleet of trucks actively spraying lines on the local route 309 around here....steered way clear of them, learned my lesson from past experiences. +1 for clay bar, they sell difference levels of aggressiveness, so for the plastic the most aggressive might help. But...
That's the one! I think this is the ride a bunch of us ended up doing and extra 15 miles because of a wrong turn. But it's fast and flat getting down to AC on that route.
Did a bike ride from Center City Philly to AC a few years back and I belive it was in support of that Irish Pub in the pic. I remember getting a beer after the ride and I think it was at that pub. In fact, I think the ride was a benefit sponsored by the Irish Pub.
So I’m about to get tires mounted up this week and want to reprogram the speedometer. I have AppleOS al around, so guess is to get an Android OS device and all the connections For it? This stinks that these tools aren’t Apple specific. Is there a comparable software that works with AppleOS?
Toyos a terribly hard to find. That was one of my options and everywhere i called said the same thing, Toyo plants have been sporadically shutting down, so they have a huge backlog of tires to make.
So I finally did it, I pulled the trigger on a set of tires: 285/65/20 BFGoodrich KO2’s.
It was between those and the Ridge Grapplers. But I voted against the RG because everyone around here has them, plus they run a little bigger and I didn’t feel like adding any extra work having to get rid...
Truck looks awesome, and I’m glad you posted this as these tires just came on my radar in the last day or so. I did some preliminary research on them and most, if not all, of the reviews are glowing for these tires. Seeing you have these mounted might make my mind up on getting these.
It...
So now Im up for putting tires on the truck after putting the Mopar lift on. I've been all over the map for tire sizes, but was figuring to go for the gusto and either put a 295/60 or 295/65 with the Mopar lift. I am using the stock night edition wheels with the +19 offset.
So if I am...
I’m a granite crystal owner, coming from a Delmonico Red Laramie with all chrome. I hated chrome by the time I traded it in. Chrome was so hard to keep clean And the wheels were ‘chrome clad’, so it looked cheesy.
Now I have a Bighorn night edition and love it. Here’s my suggestions for...
Thanks Djevox! I just found that calculator myself and feel a little better about the options. It's nice they even show a diagram of the tire pitted against the UCA/front suspension so you can vizualize it. Plus it shows you where you old tire size is vs the new tire size. I think hearing...
So this is getting a little ridiculous, and in part it's because I'm dragging my feet worrying I'm going to be making a big mistake. Struck out at all the local tire shops, and I think tire inventory is drying up fast for specific sizes. Which brought me to my next options, Nitto Ridge...
He jumped a Lambo with his Lambo Urus and Dodge Viper Snakeskin Edition with a TRX as well too. Again, I've read all the comments and I guess I can understand someone's support or entertainment by what he does and his YouTube content, but I guess I'm just old school when it comes to stuff like...
So to put this in perspective, stopped by a local 4x4 shop today that was recommended by a friend. He looked at my setup and recommended going no wider than a 285. This was one of the tire sizes I had in my head, 285/65/20. This is because I’m using the stock night edition wheels with the...
I was in the same boat as you, and what I thought would be a month wait ended up being 4. But like @RedWhite&PatriotBlue mentioned, I think some dealers may have some in stock. That was my next step was to call dealers (even out of state) to see if they had any and would ship it. That might...
@XmikeX thanks Mike! I am assuming that special order wouldnt be subject to availability issues? This might be a more solid option than the local guys and I can just take them the tires to mount and balance.
Yeah, I have a local shop I've dealt with since I started driving, but they're having issues getting all kind of tires. There's another local place I have yet to call, so I might try them too.
I looked online too and a lot are citing for the 295/60 size 'on backorder, available 11/27' or a...
Thanks for the responses! So I think no matter what one I pick, I think I might have issues getting tires. I'm hoping to get them before thanksgiving, because it's snowed around here before that. Another angle I was considering was a 285/60-65/20 size. All those choices seem to be in stock...
