I have heard guys replacing the links because the aftermarket ones are thicker and stiffen up the rear end even more above and beyond the Hellwig swaybar
I think you’re going to get both arguments on this, but I think the purpose of a sway bar is to remain level and take the sway out of the rear end. So will those springs lift the rear end at all? If it’s an inch or 2, I wouldn’t think it’s necessary. But you’re planning 2+”, you should...
Normally, paint correction is a necessary step as part of the ceramic coating process. For example, if you pay $1000 for a ceramic coat, $700 of it is probably for the paint correction and $300 is for the ceramic coat. So the paint correction cost is built into the ceramic coating quote they...
I have stock 20’s and just put these tires on with a Mopar 2” lift/level and had zero issues rubbing and had the same, if not more, clearance between the sidewall and UCA. Tire size is 285/65/20.
EDIT: just saw this thread lower down in the forum...
Put 285/65/20 on mine with Mopar 2” level. Just had tires put on stock bighorn wheels and zero rub:
I will say, for an off road tire, these ride really nice. Others we’re saying an LT tire will really change the ride, but I didn’t notice much of a change. If anything, it’s a more solid ride...
285/65/20 BFG KO2 the winner, mounted tonight. Fit perfect with zero rub, look great and look badass. Smooth ride home, haven’t had a ton of time to test. Will post pics tomorrow in the daylight.
Just got back from having 285/65/20’s BFG KO2’s mounted on stock Bighorn night edition wheels. Look every part of being perfect with a touch of badass! Guy behind the counter winced and said I don’t think those will fit, to which I responded:
Promise pics in the AM when it’s light out
I took mine off and have been hovering around 17mpg in town. I also drive like an old man. Have a trip on Thanksgiving to Delaware which is 95% highway. I've got it up over 20 on the trip before, so curious to see what this will be sans AAD. Also will have new set of bigger tires on, so this...
I have a small spray bottle that i keep in the console which is a mix of 90% isopropyl alcohol and distilled water. Works great cleaning the windows while waiting in the pickup line at my daughters school.
They sure are! Another gripe I have is the chipsealing of roads. Inexpensive way to seal road cracks. What i dont understand is cheaping out on actually fixing the road while they're spending money on nonsensical things. I think that might be localized to townships doing that and not...
Yeah I just happened to come across this convoy of trucks heading northbound and I saw the one actively painting, so I made absolutely sure not to traverse any of the lines. Around here, you can tell when they just painted, the lines are so bad in some places the fresh paint sticks out. I've...
Check this thread out, posts #11 & 19 have members running stock wheels on bigger tires:

And this is the best thread, lots of eye candy...
