Fixed the issue of slipping on White Knuckle rock sliders when it's wet:
went with topo print. I have enough material to do the whole outside tube but decided to only apply to spots where I actually step on.
i didn't read instruction when I installed my suspensionmaxx endlinks and didn't crank them down to what the instruction indicated.
then, I went on a 2 day desert run with the high speed HD guys on part of the race course in Laughlin and then ran the western section of Mojave Road... again in...
toyos are great.
we moved a LOT of them when their promo was on earlier this year. great traction, great longevity, easy to mount and balance (that's more of a plus for the guy installing lol)
what i did:
white Knuckle Offroad Sliders, coated it with 3 coats of black Steel-it.
Reapply as needed, no need for additional sanding and prep work when reapplying.
Benefits:
Full steel structure, bolted to FRAME not to the body like all those steps. Offers outstanding protection.
Will not...
i go 80mph on rough surface too lol but for sure not that often. even in a fully built full Thuren catalogue HD truck (the kind of build that eat Raptors and TRXs for breakfast, lunch, and dinner) it's sketchy to go that fast all the time without being caged. i have a internal limiter that slows...
not bds.
fox 2.5 dsc all around,
700lb springs in the front, clayton 2.5" HD springs in the rear.
full carli components minus the brake line.
no issues.
for sure hahaha
im only doing installs and doing custom length harnesses across various platforms as the need comes up. if i'm cranking out 5 cars a day then that'd make sense!
got one in black and one in white.
This style but much smaller. words in outline only not filled.
About that "boogielander cafe" size but for sure no "cafe" lol
dm me your address.
not much today.
spent $15 to rinse it at coin op car wash because it's too hot to do it in the day time, and I couldn't run pressure washer in the middle of the night when it's cool. I hate it when I'm done washing and as I dry half of the truck the other half just dry by itself leaving all...
"uh... I'm $14 short... i searched all my pockets, gloveboxes, center console, door pockets. Is $386 ok?"
"ah what the hell, there goes my McDonald. f*ck it. Give me the money"
"thank you sir!"
is that how it went down? :ROFLMAO:
hahaha my friend cut it for me for my Alaska trip and he hated doing it lol after learning the process I finally learned why he hated cutting stickers.
i might have one still somewhere in my truck. standby...
