Since the thread popped up again, I figured I give an update.
The Clazio covers are still meeting/exceeding my expectations. They're still snug and wrinkle free, despite getting in/out of the truck repeatedly. No visible edges or anything that would suggest they're a cover instead of...
Technically speaking you can do the same thing with Spotify by selecting shuffle play on your "Liked Songs". Likewise, Pandora will do the same thing by selecting shuffle play on "My Collection". Doing this has the same issue as a USB though, in that you're not getting new songs. Instead are...
That's pretty much what I did. My subscription was expiring and I didn't have an active card on the account. They contacted me about renewing (and needed new card info to do it) and I told them I didn't want to pay that much for radio. They offered a discount for 3 months if I signed up for a...
You got a good deal. I'm not sure how you landed that one, but nice work.
They offered me a reduced price to renewed, but it was only discounted for 3 months then it went to the standard $18/month. Not worth it to me for what I was getting versus what I could get with other services.
Yeah, me too. I think that's why I like Pandora just a bit better than Spotify. It seems to be set up for station listening more than playlists. You just pick a station, song, artist, or genre you like and let it run.
That's a good rate, until that promo expires. They contacted me about renewing my subscription and the cheapest non-promotional plan available was $13 per month, with the typical one used being $18.
And as noted, you're stuck with whatever song is on the station that's playing. I used to like...
They are extremely similar. I've had the free version of both for years. I recently switch to premium version because both seem to have increased the frequency of adds on the free versions. You're correct that the adds aren't long, and I also grew up with broadcast radio/television so you...
Pandora and Spotify are much cheaper than XM and you get a lot more flexibility/choice. On XM, if you're listening to a given station and a song comes on that you don't like, you either have to change the channel or wait for the next song. With Spotify and Pandora, you simply skip it. What's...
BTW Brink Wheels, I really like that bronze set on the blue Ram featured on your website. Very similar to the TRX wheels, with a little twist. Nice work.
Now hurry up and make a set of those in 18" with a zero offset. 😁
I like that they, just like the OEM wheels, don't have a big bulbous center cap too. I don't know what the obsession is with adding a giant dome to the center of the wheel like some companies have. It's hideous.
Put a 285 on a zero offset wheel and the outer edge will sit pretty close to the same place as the 12.5" wide that has just enough offset to clear the UCA. Same look, better tire, made possible by a zero offset.
Not to mention they're lighter than 12.5 wide tires. That helps with getting them on/off the truck if you do your own rotations too. And probably helps to save a little fuel.
I prefer mine to be close to the fenders. Not tucked in, not pushed out. Maybe just a little out if anything, but not way out like the big offsets do.
One thing to keep in mind is that a lot of people who are swapping wheels/tires aren't doing aggressive off-roading. I'd go as far as to...
I kind of figured it would after reading this thread. If I had know that when I got my premium plan, I probably would have just used Spotify. I already had a free Spotify account for quite a while and have a pretty big library. But Uconnect had the Pandora icon on the radio, and their website...
By this logic though, Ram has stopped making the regular cab truck. They claimed QC/CC were more popular choice, but they didn't offer a RC with good trims. You can't get a Laramie (or even a Big Horn anymore) with a RC. People are picking the QC/CC because they want that trim, not...
I agree with the zero offset. I swapped my stock 20's for a set of OEM Rebel take-offs. There's not a lot of good 18" options. They're either deep dish or stock offset. I don't want my tires to stick out really far, but it would be nice to have them out a bit more than stock. I think a zero...
I've used Spotify, and it's a nice platform. That said, I have a subscription to Pandora and use the free version of Spotify.
I chose the Pandora premium over the Spotify one because I knew I could use Pandora on Uconnect/Android Auto. Instead of working the app through my phone... aka the wee...
I run matched spares on my trucks. Meaning, I replace the cheap rim with one that matches my mounted ones, and then install a matching tire. I use these in a 5 wheel rotation. I've never had any issues with my spares' function or durability, and they have all looked very similar when they're...
And that's the key right there. Some people may not be happy with a certain configuration while other's may like it just fine. I for one drive like a little old man, so I doubt I'd have an issue with the 3.6L on 37's as far as power is concerned (the mpg's would likely bother me though)...
