May be a dumb question but does anything have to be changed in the Uconnect nav system for it to navigate/track correctly after changing tire size and calibrating? Or is the nav strictly off gps?
Installed the B2Fab oval muffler this morning. Install went quick and easy. Sounds great. Not too loud with a nice rumble. Thinking about plugging the resonator weep holes or maybe just getting the b2fab resonator delete kit. We’ll see, give it some time to see how I feel.
Finally had a few minutes to install the oval b2 muffler. Install was real easy. Definitely much easier to unbolt the rear hanger bracket. 2 nuts and then you can remove them on the bench instead of underneath the truck. Used some permatex on the joint for extra security. Sounds real good...
Thanks 5thgenloco, that is good info to know. I don’t want to end up front high or even level. I also want to keep some rake. I may end up doing #4 then to be safe.
It sounds like you did exactly what I want to do. ORP with bilsteins and 1”rear spacer. You used clip 4 on the bilsteins? So did you get 2” of lift from those plus your ORP or do you mean you have 2” of lift total now? I’m ready to install but can’t commit to which clip I want on the front, 4 or 5.
Thanks for these pictures. I have a bighorn ORP and have the bilsteins and 275/65r20 Nitto RG ready to install. Have been racking my brain on whether to go with clip 5 or 4. I am also putting the rear bilsteins on and a 1" motofab coil spacer to maintain a bit of rake. I'm thinking I may have...
The bilstein shock in the rear doesn’t provide any lift. The shock can accommodate a little lift. In order to physically lift the back you’d have to install a coil spring spacer or a new spring coil. There are a ton of people running coil spacers, ie. motofab. There are also a ton of people...
Just drove to work and back but it’s what was was waiting for me when I got home. Tires and Readylift UCAs. Add them to my pile and I’ve got some work to do soon! 😎
No trade, unfortunately my prior ram lost its fight with a maple tree. But here’s my 2020 at the dealer when I picked it up and a few in the driveway that evening!
Paint I'm not worried about as much as the never ceasing rust from being up north. What do you use to touch up the paint? I think I will just need to do that more often than you being in the south.
