One reason is because it's a !@#$% to get the vinyl to lay right when you are applying it to the Ram's tailgate. I had to apply mine wet and in 3 different sections to get it perfect. I have the distressed flag theme throughout the truck, the vinyl on the tailgate seemed like a must.
