thanks! That pic is perfect exactly what I was looking for. It’s Interesting, I want to look at my 5th gen box and see if there is any sort of marking outline where it would locate!
yes I was interested in possibly retrofitting it into an older Willys I have that has no heater, I have a box I made with a traditional core, but this would just be a little neater and cleaner. also, after learning about it, thought it might be neat to add to my ram, but probably not worth it...
since you have a 2020 now, maybe you can weigh in - do you notice that it gives you immediate cabin heat? like is it a feature you enjoy, or is it something not noticeable.
I have a gas truck, but on the eco diesels, they are equipped with what is called a PTC Element, or Aux Cab Heater, which is electric and can help create heat to warm the cab quicker than the engine would normally want to heat up. Does anyone have an actual pic of one of these heaters?

I can confirm, if you remove the lower active air damn, no CEL, but you will have 2-codes if you scan.

in my 4th gens, I ran 5w20 per manual. at 120k, did cam and lifters (lifter roller failure). at 180k, needed cam/lifters again. this time, I replaced with a junkyard motor with 40k. switched to 5w30, and motor is noticeable quieter at idle. have around 80k on it myself at this point, so...
I hear ya..for what its worth, it becomes basically a plug and play installation, right down to the connector pins and rubber waterproof seals in the connector. its pretty neat. the biggest hack, and this was just me, is I cut my tail light back covers with a Dremel to fit the sensors and...
Don’t want to buy the 2 factory tail light sensors on eBay? Bunch of us did that, myself included. Jimmy can make you some nice missing wire harnesses.
yes. He went From knob to shifter; changed shift type in bcm. Simple sharing to show that a transmission swap from a gt / trx is not necessary to change shifter type, and gain auto stick function
