2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

Yeah, but…unless the fix is something that can be fixed OTA… they’re only gonna issue a TSB (which the major population is unaware of, yes, we’re geeks) and it’ll only get fixed if A. A person go to the dealership and B. The dealer is competent enough to look it up.

I agree, I don’t think it’ll be like the 1500 DT and 1500 classic scenario. 95% same truck, parts and assembly

I would guess not. Swapping the mechanicals is easier than redoing the CAN bus architecture. I imagine it’ll be the same updated 2025 (styling and software) with the etorque Hemi. Just needs different PCM/TCM software.

It won’t work, at least not consistently if at all. I really think everyone with this issue needs a BCM update. If Ram hasn’t released it yet, they will. I discovered that my tailgate handle has an LED light inside of it after my greeting lights were fixed😀

I think, if you have passive unlock, you have PWU. I also think, A BCM update (if/when available) will fix all the PWU bugs

Your poor photography skills are completely unacceptable for a group of highly refined riff-raff like us!!

I don’t know for sure, but given the new CANBUS architecture, I don’t think so. @Jimmy07 might know if he’s around

Thank you!!!! I may get a bed rug now over my factory spray in… I didn’t know…

I dunno if that’ll work. The bedrug is held in place with sticky back Velcro and the line-x won’t allow adhesion very well… just something to think about

Bedrugs are fine with wet stuff. No mold. Only problem is you need to keep tanto open for it to dry. Otherwise, fantastic and awesome on the knees. Oh, and keep vacuumed or sliding in Sheetrock will scratch on a rock or stick. All hurricanes have the 2 batteries.

No, it’s not. Maybe your dealer has one laying around. If not, maybe junk yard. eBay/Amazon thereafter. That would be my order

Awesome! Did it fall into the door panel?

Maybe there is an issue. I know the new versions generally use a sensor that’s housed in the rear view mirror enclosure so, that area not being clean can cause issues🤷🏻‍♂️

The rain sensitive wipers sound like they’re working as they should. The intermittent setting is actually the sensitivity setting… as in… how much rain is it gonna allow before wiping. How much rain it sees at once on the windshield depends on how much it’s raining and vehicle speed.
