Either that or order a new DASM. $1000 for a new one is a tough gamble.
Seems like the last thing to rule out.
I changed that ESCL setting a few days ago because the configurations I read from other trucks had it enabled and I wasn’t sure if that played a part.
Yes, I’ve had this plugged in for over two months. I know for a fact it’s from a wrecked limited. I’m not sure why this particular module would have to be virgin either. Seems strange, but possible?
Here is my current status in the DASM:
ECU Qualification:
RLS: Not set
AHBM: Not set...
VIN - Current: 1C6RREHT8KN847709
VIN - Original: 1C6RREHT8KN847709
ECU Part Number: 68320950AL
Hardware number: 68320948AL
Hardware Supplier Identification: Delphi
Software Logical Block Supplier Identification: Delphi
My Vin is not these
I think we just found our problem.
Okay so I just checked the status in the DASM and I now have more parameters showing.
Something that’s interesting is the module is showing that this module is VIN locked.
It’s also reading FCW Error.
I wonder if you cannot use a used DASM.
okay this worked and can confirm those vehicle config 7 options are set to No by default.
U148A is still showing after clearing
U0104 in the TCM appeared but clears and stays cleared.
Negative I do no see the last two configuration options in the variant 3.
After changing those other options though I am still left with the same vehicle configuration mismatch dtc
Checking other modules now
I think i'd have to add a wifi antenna. These are the current active faults i have after this install:
Lost communication with ECM/PCM
Lost Communication with TCM
Lost Comminucation with ABS Control Module
Lost Communication with ORC
Lost Communication with Cluster
Wifi Antenna
I don't think...
I started with a 8.4 non nav. I actually enabled that this morning in alpha. Going to see if that does it. I notice that whenever i search for an address it always says "searching offline". Is this related?
I've made this swap and have been happy with it over the last 2 months. The only thing i'd like to figure out is how to get XM travel link (weather, traffic, etc) to work. I have updated my subscription but haven't had any luck with it working. Anyone here been able to get it working?
Went to my dealer and was able to sit down with a tech and go through the modules with him on witech. I'm getting 2 faults that are preventing the ACC and Lane departure from working. U148A in the steering "implausible data received from DASM" and C2206 in the DASM "vehicle configuration...
So i have rear seats from a Laramie that are heated. Don't these have the module and wiring already in them? I think the only thing i would need is whatever wire connects from the seats to the body computer?
great! Seems like it won’t be too much of a pain to add. I was on the fence on if I should worry about the rear not working, but I’m also one to want every feature on my truck to work.
Were you able to enable rear heated/vented seats? I just added leather seats from a laramie into my lonestar. I imagine there is some wiring that needs to be added as i could not find an unused harness near the back seat.
So i've managed to get the DTC in the cruise control module down to "C2206 - vehicle configuration mismatch"
I assume this means i haven't selected the correct settings in the BCM. I'm hoping it's just a matter of getting the correct configuration. I am trying to gather more vehicle...

There should not be any 20' wiring harness you have to buy. You have to buy 2 harnesses, left and right "jumper" harness. These go from the tail light to the main wiring harness under the truck. You have to make the other harness yourself as detailed in the document in post #106 (page 6 of this...
