    BIGHORN gets Bilstein 5100’s

Thanks for the input taco. I have seen a good bit of people on here running 5 with ORP. I thinking I will just go with 6 on mine (if I ever get some free time to actually install ‍♂️)

I'm also wonder if anyone has any experience with a non-orp at setting 7 and how they felt the ride was. I know this will differ from stock, but how much is what I wonder.

Was just answering your question on “Why do I need that?”

Experts weigh In... Laramie, Non-ORP set up.

Yeah your brought up the real question earlier; does the ball joint or the UCA limit travel? Once I do my 5100s this summer I will try to determine this. They are sitting in my garage for now...

Experts weigh In... Laramie, Non-ORP set up.

It should be considered due to the potential stress when fully extended. If the ball joint limits the travel because it cannot keep a usable angle, it will lead to eventual failure. Say the wheel was to leave the ground for some reason (whether off road or on), then the stress on the ball joint...

    Bilstein 5100

So is anyone running theirs on setting 7? I ordered my rears and got my rear spacer in the mail yesterday. Hoping to get around to installing these sometime here in the next few weeks.

    Quarantine wheel project

They make a product called glossifier that adds shine. I don’t have much experience with it personally.

Looks awesome, I plan on the same thing, but using DYC's new stuff (hyper dip). Def a good job there, they look fantastic.

Will have better luck moving this to the for sale section. This section is for discussions typically. Good luck on the sale!

How does it ride going from the non-orp standard strut rear to the new setup? Also do you have a part number for the rear ORP springs?

    Bilstein 5100

Posts before this indicate a better ride and better rebound control. For the $200, I plan on upgrading this also.

    Bilstein 5100

Also is anyone running these on setting 7 daily? I'm planning on 5100 on all 4 corners and adding a 1.5 spacer in rear as some others have but was curious about running the higher setting in front. Most are running 4-6 which makes the most sense (I never liked running full max/min on parts...

Dang! You could try calling them and seeing if they can order another or some other route. Their customer service is usually on point.
