So a quick update… I placed the order yesterday through Andrew at accessory parts yesterday And the cover was delivered today shortly after lunch. Between the great price and crazy fast and free shipping, I would recommend reaching out to him before they go out of business!
Hopefully the...
Everything I've seen so far in reviews is that the ultra and armor cover the 3rd brake light when in the vertical locked-open position. I've been researching covers for the last couple months trying to decide and this was one of the factors. It looks like the Leer HF650M does not cover the 3rd...
2019 bighorn crew cab standard bed 5.7L and it really depends on the season and where I'm driving. I did a trip from PA to NC over the summer and was averaging 23-24 mpg on the highway. Typical week of driving I'm more around the 18-19 mpg. We've had a crazy cold snap here this past week or...
Leaning more and more towards the Leer with the quad panel design. Everything I've seen it allows full bed access in the vertical position, doesn't cover the cargo light when open, and looks like it could be removed completely in relatively short order if needed.
I've got it narrowed down to these 3 covers. I've been searching for a hard folding cover for a few months and I'm ready to pull the trigger. Hoping there's a few of you out there with experience on some of these covers so I can narrow it down to 1.
I've had soft roll ups, hinged soft covers...
I have 2 battery tender plus that I've been using for the last 16 years on streetbikes, track bikes, and my 65 mustang that sits all winter in the garage. They've worked great this whole time.
Welcome to the problems of us northeasterners. If the weather patterns continue, you'll be a pro at clearing the wiper blade when it swings up while driving in the snow.
I went option 3 - replaced the OEM halogens with the Ultra 2 low beam LED and the Ultra 2 high beam LED and swapped the halogen turns to a brighter LED so they wouldn't get washed out. Ended up being about $545 through Headlight Revolution and couldn't be happier with the end result... although...
I've done tons of track days and dirt days in a 2005 Colorado, a 2015 Canyon and now in my RAM 1500 all crew cabs. 1 bike plus gear and ramps in the back of the Colorado and Canyon used up nearly every inch of space. Then add 2-3 people in the cab and you feel every pound.
The cab space...
Have you ever tried yellow lights for fogs? The whole point for the fog light is to cut through fog/rain which is why it’s mounted so low. Brighter light will just have the same effect as high beams do in fog. Yellow light doesn’t get scattered as much as the white light does. Diode dynamics...
Got rid of the OEMs on my 2019 at 20,000 miles and put a set of Defenders on. Very happy with the ride and noise about 2 months in now. Great in the rain as well. No snow testing as of yet but that should be here in a month or two.
