Tonneau Covers - Leer HF650M vs Lomax Hard Tri-fold vs UnderCover Armor Flex

The cover itself is great and very well made. I still believe there is a general fitment issue overall though. I have it positioned where everything is covered/sealed and functions properly but I think it should have been manufactured like 3/4" or so longer. I've been communicating with Leer...

    Rear window surround crack.

Same.... my dealership has a 3rd party glass guy come in for this issue.

    Rear window surround crack.

Just had my leaking rear window replaced last Thursday. The headliner was said to be a 12-15 day lead time so just waiting on that to come in now. Turns out the rear leaked because the sealant had not completely touched everywhere and eventually popped loose. I'm also told the headliner can...

    Tonneau cover questions

The sides are actually sealed really well on the leer 650. The bulkhead has a inner and outer seal and really only needed minor tweaks where the bulkhead meets the bed rails. The tailgate is the biggest problem and that's because of the massive gaps between the bed and the tailgate itself so I...

What engine oil are you using?

Amsoil 5-20. I actually use amsoil in my street bike and track bike and they have a great oil for my 65 mustang. no issues and no complaints. amsoil sells it in a 275 gallon tote for anyone that likes to bulk buy! FWIW I honestly don’t believe you can go wrong with any of the quality branded...

How does one keep the radio one when door is opened?

or you can trade it in for a Chevy if you're that against a separate Bluetooth speaker setup https://gmauthority.com/blog/2020/09/2021-chevy-silverados-multi-flex-tailgate-can-play-your-favorite-tunes/

How does one keep the radio one when door is opened?

Bose stuff is great stuff for sure. Usually costs a few more bucks but if that isn't a problem you certainly get a good product. I love my BOSE sport ear buds. I went JBL for the waterproof feature as you mentioned. It's just nice not having to worry about it outside if it starts raining or...

How does one keep the radio one when door is opened?

just heard back from the dealership yesterday that it was approved and rear glass was ordered…next round of waiting begins. Ended up being 3 days for approval.

    Moisture on inside of truck.

I get that, I'm just saying I would have thought the process would be nearly instantaneous for some of these known and somewhat common issues. I was told it could be up to a week and a half for an approval to come through.

Fog Light on During the Day?

You can't turn the fogs on by themselves. They need the parking lights to be on or the headlights to be on with them. So turning them on and throwing the dial in the AUTO position has them come on whenever the headlights come on automatically. Or do what MoreOvalteenPlz mentioned.

    Rear window surround crack.

I have the same play in mine which made me think my newly found leak was coming from there as well. Turns out it is the rear window though.

    Moisture on inside of truck.

Picked up my '19 back in August last year and just noticed condensation on the inside of the windshield last week. Dealership said it is the rear window leaking and is now waiting on an approval for warrant repair. I kinda figured it would almost be an automatic approval from how many issues...

Tonneau Covers - Leer HF650M vs Lomax Hard Tri-fold vs UnderCover Armor Flex

Got the cover installed and the cover itself is really well made. Took about a half an hour even with the "help" of the 7 year old. My single complaint is the overall fitment from tailgate to bulkhead. I really feel like the cover should be about 3/4-1" longer. installed the way the leer...

Just trying to have some fun

^ this. Living in the NE, 4x4 is necessary every winter to get around all the cars that collect at the bottom of nearly every snow covered hill on my commute. If it's really bad I'm able to stick to the unplowed back roads in hopes of avoiding all the road rage in the snow.

    Kid proofing a 1500 Limited?

Seat covers as mentioned and I picked up a mount for the iPad that clicks into the headrest bars. Great for entertainment on the long vacation drives. Throw a pair of headphones on the kid and it’s peace and quiet for hours!
