    Shocked...but not really

They don't call them "Stealers" for nothing. Really sorry for your experiences. Auto repair business in the USA is probably one of the scummiest industries in the country.

    A/C Performance

This IS possible when a system isn't charged fully it can show this symptom, however some here are saying once they clamp off the heater core temps average the same and much lower temps at both center vents.

What was your ambient temp outdoors? Thanks.

    Air conditioning performance

Wow now that doesn't make logical sense. Anyone else elaborate on this aspect of things. I too would think that closing the rear vents would boost CFM pressure for the air coming out of the front vents.

Thanks for being willing to take actual vent temps with a thermometer. (y)(y) Take the temp and tell us what the ambient outdoor temp and humidity is if possible thanks friend. :)

    Air conditioning performance

Thing is when the dealership does things like this it isn't forgotten and with word of mouth to friends, family, and acquaintances, and of course social media and forums even the most clueless consumer has some idea of what might be going on with his concern. It makes the dealer and Chrysler...

    Air conditioning Hack

Current RAM buyers could give the vehicle very bad reviews to family, friends, and acquaintances, it is IMPERATIVE that Chrysler remedy this huge issue.

    Air conditioning performance

It really will be interesting to know EXACTLY what the problem is someday, I'm sure someone will tear into this AC and heater box and we'll see where at least part of the problem lies. I still think that there is a problem with the body control (HVAC) module as well. I posed the possibility that...

AC - does anyone have a truck that blows ice cold?

:censored: You got a truck with properly working A/C. But even so for a few bucks you could help build a database to show which are working correctly and which are not.

I Sorry I didn't remember your previous post. Thanks.

    Air conditioning performance

I wonder if the heat shield is hot enough does the condensate actually evaporate off it? Another words steam comes off of the heat shield and lifts up towards the floor or firewall? That might make a difference somehow. Makes more sense to me that the condensate would drop right on the ground...

AC - does anyone have a truck that blows ice cold?

Folks you need to post your vent temps... Without actual quantifiable data like that it's just your perception. Go buy an inexpensive digital thermometer with a corded probe on it.

    Random Blower Motor Noise

This MAY be programmed into the HVAC module. The reason why is that leaving on recirculate for long periods of time can make the air in the ****pit stale and possibly create drowsiness too since today many cars have nearly air tight cabins or they let in almost no fresh air with the windows...

Easter Egg from the Line Worker Building Our Truck?

Even if that is the symbol that the vendor chose to use, the symbol IS commonly associated with Christ. Since this is not visible to the typical customer I see no issues with it at all.

So what did this regional rep (I assume district service rep) say to you when asked about this issue? Don't name him of course.

    A/C Performance

I wonder if the 2019 HVAC vent box configuration has the facilities that the previous unit did, but they are just not utilized??For cost purposes it would have been cheaper if Chrysler just kept this unit and deleted certain parts from it. I would think with a TSB the required parts could be...

    A/C Performance

But it DOES depend on vent temps. Your one side puts out close to spec, while many complaining state that both vents in the center put out mid to upper 50s or 60s when temps are not even beyond 90 F. Fact is that with the c0ckpit fan working correctly (pushing out enough CFMs to spec) mid 40s F...

Sure would be nice if Chrysler engineers would be willing to communicate with customers, the silence makes things worse since it keeps customers guessing, frustrated, and disgusted.

    Air conditioning Hack

Well I don't think the customers want to have it come to that, but it might. Be better if FCA stepped up and made some changes that would require a TSB for some vehicles and some minor modifications that are factory authorized. I think in the mobile AC engineering field, cold is not really...
