I have this harness on my truck and it works perfect, and the quality is better than factory. The harness does the same as depinning the harness but with the ability to revert back to stock in the event you need to take it to the dealership. I had an issue where I had to have the radio...
That definitely sounds like it is a noise cancellation issue. There is a TSB regarding the ANC amp update.

Since it is so random and hasn't happened since, I haven't taken it to the dealership because I know I will get the standard answer "unable to duplicate".
With the icy weather I would go with the winter tires. If it was just snow I would lean towards A/T tires, I had a good set on my prior truck and they went through everything we got in the way of snow. But icy weather winter tires are better.
I had the same thing happen to me, it definitely sounds and felt like it was the active dampeners. I was able to get it to stop by turning the truck off and turning it back on. Mine the vibration and sound only seemed to occur when accelerating.
I believe that there is a TSB regarding the static and other issues with the radio, if you don't have NAV you need to go to the dealer to get the software updated on the radio.

That could be the case, because when they took the windshield out the sensor was actually wired up. If that is the case, I could probably just add the wiper control with the auto wipers.
I had the same thing happen to mine, unfortunately it happened while on vacation. What I did was disconnect the negative wire from the battery, there is a software update for the radio which is supposed to fix the issue. My radio wouldn't take the update so they went and opened a STAR case...

I believe so, I actually have an appointment tomorrow morning at the dealership to address some of the bugs which are fixed by the software update. I will let you know what they say about updates.
