does anyone know if there is a way to turn the tailgate open warning off if you have to use the extender and leave the tailgate open on a longer trip? i have an ice fishing shelter that is about 6 inches longer than this tailgate..lol...

yep, you have to use the special funnel.. anti siphon tank has some great advantages.. this is just one of the small drawbacks

sounds like a RF hub issue.. It probably got wet from a leaky rear window (it's hard to see the leak marks) and dripped on it as it's behind the panel behind your rear seats.. it's kind of a sneaky problem that dodge says they don't have but yet all their warranty work they cover the unit with...
