I use the Yakima Dr. Tray hitch mount rack and I am able to lower my tailgate just fine. When purchasing it had the lowest rise of all of the mounts I looked at (Kuat, Thule, RockyMounts). The downside is you can only extend it to haul three bikes where as the others can haul four but I’ve been...
Yep, sure will. That’s what I have on my spare tire on my Laramie and it fits under their just fine. It is a used Duratrac though and frankly I haven’t looked under their since the tire shop mounted it to see just how tight the fit is.
Good to hear, thanks! After my post I did some more digging over at Expedition Portal and heard largely the same thing - someone had recommended keeping it within 2” diameter which would work for me as I already have a 33” spare but glad to hear you were able to make a 31” work as well.
Hadn’t considered being able to run a smaller tire on the spare. Is their any guidance on what the maximum delta is between regular tire size and spare tire size? I suppose there would also be restrictions on driving habits too . . .
I went the other direction - I put Nokian Hakkapelittaa LT2s on my stock 18” wheels and then bought new wheels/tires for summer. Not familiar with what winter tires are available for 22” wheels but the Nokians are awesome.
Having two sets of wheels is the way to go - it avoids wear and tear on...
Loving my Laramie with ORG, Mopar lift and 33” Duratracs but have been seriously considering going to 35s (likely with the BDS 4” lift).
I’ve always stayed away from going bigger than 33” because of the ability to have a same sized spare in the normal location. I use the truck in the back...
Mine was great last winter up here in Montana...add some weight to the bed (I use tube sand), keep your windshield warm and carry on. No issues with the headlights.
Multiple months of heavy snow and subzero temps with zero issues.

Having similar challenges here with the Pixel 3. I first noticed it when I downloaded the Android 10 beta and just assumed that it was related to the beta although others had had success. Now on the RC version I’m probably about 50/50 whether it works or not.
I’ve tried multiple cables as well...
GoRhino RB20 Running Boards for sale - $325. I ran them on my Ram for ~1500 miles before deciding I wanted something narrower. They are in great condition and while used, don't have any paint chips or dings in them.
I don't have any of the original packaging material so don't really want to...
So I have roughly 2.25-2.5” of rake. Measuring from the ground (w/ 33” tires): F-38 7/8” / R- 40 3/8” or measuring from the center of hub F-22.5” / R-24.75”
So this may be the opposite of what everyone is looking for but I have a Laramie with the ORP that I installed the Mopar lift on a couple of months ago. I actually like some rake but didn’t get as much as I was expecting. I’m assuming that is due to the ORP springs? If I had them replace the ORP...
Can someone tell me the width of the Mopar Off-Road running boards? I just installed the Go Rhino RB20 running boards and while I like the look of them generally they are wider than I was hoping so looking for something similar that is a bit narrower.
In addition to the Blizzaks check out the Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT2. You can get them factory studded or without studs. I run them on my truck in the winter and the Bridgestone KO2 the rest of the year. Even though the KO2 is snowflake rated there really isn't any comparison between the tires in...
