The pin is brake. I have confirmed it functions correctly. Next will be to buy a pin kit, female side and then run the wire to the rear of the truck. Cavity is empty on the under harness side.
So this is my connector from under the cab. the Brake signal pin is present so now I need to taknapart the other side and see if it has a nice little wire just waiting to be clipped into.

OK I got the single day tech authority subscription and I do believe we have a center tap in, located in the cab. I will see if I can take a look but pin 26 of the large connector xy400A white and violet wire is for "topper 3rd brake light"
So if we have to pull off the wiring for each side has anyone found a nice place to do that. Still going to hate tapping into factory harness.. seems so dumb in 2019... Looks like I still have time though as ARE is obviously dragging feet on getting the new toppers out for the 5th gen truck
LMAO ok I guess I can take that as a plus.. Just seems silly to have a fully optioned 70k plus truck and it does not have the option to have a line for the hitch. Really would not have been much of a coding issue to allow us to turn it on and off regardless of deck size..
Wow absolutely dumbest thing to not put in the truck. Seems silly I have a truck with receiver hitch and trailer brake from the factory yet no center line because it did not have the package with wide mirrors... Not really sure that logic holds well for truck buyers... Maybe we will get the...
As I am considering a larger tire.. I think we are in the same boat as the Jeep guys.
here is what they have to do.

So I am not sure if related but I found that I needed to make sure I created a user in sirius in order for sirius to retain settings. I also found that if I did a seat setting save things tend to stay the way I set them last.. maybe try both if you have not.. my top card stays as long as I do...
Same problem. Any way we can submit a bug list without having a service apointment. I do not need a tech tyo take 2 hours to tell me it is a software issue and I have to wait for a update
Chrome Bug/rock guard... holes in the hood did not align well. ahead to modify the plastic screw mount so it would align in the holes... otherwis went on well and finished product is nice.
From what I have found in usage so far.
If we load the truck heavy with the truck motor off. When we start the truck we get the overload error.
If we load the truck with the truck running the truck self levels and word as expected.
We had similar expierience with our 16 3500 air assist. When...
Can you post the diagrams? I really hate cutting into wiring if I can avoid it. Dodge has always done such a great job giving us a place to do this it is really a shame if they did not in the 19’s
