E-torque on Ram 1500's came in with the 5th gen redesign. No Ram trucks had stop/start prior to 5th gens, so any complaints about stop/start abruptness was from other types or brands of vehicles. The reasons for adding e-torque is well documented all over the web. No need to argue that here...

That is only partially true. If you swap out the fuel tank yourself the factory warranty on the fuel tank is void. But that doesn't void the warranty on anything unrelated to the fuel tank.

Yeah hopefully that's gonna keep a lot of people from buying something new if they need to finance it. Too many people take out loans they shouldn't.

I'd keep the Big Horn if it were me unless you want to move up to higher trim level. Either engine will pull that with no problem. Which trailering options are you wanting to have? It's easy enough to add a trailer brake and tow mirrors or extensions to your Big Horn.

I doubt anyone here knows for sure what changes they've made over the years. It's normal practice for most manufacturers of any type of products to make changes/improvements over the life of the product. Most manufacturers don't make those changes public, so only those who need to know about...

Bed dividers from 4th gens fit on 5th gens so I'd be very surprised if they don't fit.

That's a pretty good price for what is essentially a brand new interior.
