I agree. They’re saving well under $30 per truck with this move. I’m wondering if this was on purpose or it was just missed by their QC. Have either of you checked with your dealership?

Just so you know for future reference, the 1500 Classic is a 4th gen (DS) and your truck is a 5th gen (DT). That alone makes those tail lights incompatible with your truck. The shape of the tail lights openings is different. When shopping for parts for your truck you need to avoid any parts...

You should have read that closer. Not only does it say it’s for Ram 1500 Classic, it also says the truck must have factory LED’s for them to fit. Your truck is not a Classic and did not come with factory LED’s.

Just make an appointment at your dealership. It could be a software issue or something else. But you’re still under warranty so why not just let them fix it under warranty?

I’ve never even seen 88 octane gas where I live. We run 87 in our 2020 Limited with no “noticeable” issues. But I would go with 89 if it was ever used for towing.

I would suspect the cost to be higher since the tailgate skin is aluminum.

From research I’ve done, there may be occasions when the warranty is honored, but it’s very iffy. It also depends on the manufacturer. But I’ve seen too many people make threads over the years in this forum and other Dodge/Ram forums, complaining that something which would normally be covered...

The main concern I would have is that the factory warranty left on the truck will not be honored at any US dealerships. You would have to go to a Canadian dealership for any warranty work on the truck.

Unless they changed something for 2025 models there isn’t a setting for that. They should deploy when you open the door or you can deploy them from the Uconnect screen. IDK, maybe ‘25’s have that feature but I’m not sure why anyone would want to do that. If it is a setting you should be able...
