had something similar happen once - gas pedal got pinned to the floor and couldn't break to stop. I will admit I panicked and I think through the thing into park and this was on the expressway. ended up needing tranny work after that episode.
A custom system will always sound better - if staying stock which sounds like OP is since he asked was it worth it pretty much is worth it if staying any level stock.
who is actually getting out of their vehicle and forgetting it is running and going about their day? And if you're going in the store with your vehicle running that's the same russian roulette from the 70s...good luck and hope for the best.
seriously - I had the 8.4 - never thought I needed a 12 - now that I have it why would I WANT an 8.4? What buttons exactly are missing that are so inconvenient? You still ahave to touch/push something and the 12 has almost infinite amount of shortcuts
To me GM OnStar was worth it to me - I loved being able to call up and talk to a real person on the fly to look up and send me driving directions to the vehicle. Poor planner and did things on a whim so rarely had a route ready. Ram did not provide that service which was enough for me to not...
I shortcut the heating steering wheel and seats...as long as I still have the knob for radio volume and temp controls I am more than happy with the switch. I didn't think I needed the 12 inch screen either but came with the Limited...now I love it especially with being able to serve up multiple...
wait - we are supposed to have ambient lighting there where you have the circles? I somehow don't drive much at night - that will change with time change coming - so haven't noticed. If you say Yes I will run out and take a look.
Definitely worth it!! The upgraded stereo was the one thing I wished I ahd in my Rebel. We have a jeep with the 9 speaker Alpine and I thought that was heads above the base Rebel...got the Limited and heck yeah that HK sounds better! The surround stereo mixing is incredible...GET IT
Agreed blackout is over played...coming from my Rebel I wasn't sure how I would like the Chrome accents on the Limited but I love them. Makes the truck pop and last minute I ordered the color matched bumper. That part I do like except for the extra cash for PPF on it
Nice truck! I'm noticing there is no digital dash...are you purposely not wanting that? And no Rambox...I use them all the time. I am not the best negotiator but can't hurt to tell them your price. Get a quote from another dealer as leverage
$1500?? That's nuts. I think someone posted here having done that whole kit and it to me it was too much carbon. Should be able to find what you want cheaper
I have the Elite interior so Indigo and Sea Salt - no regrets. Very comfortable and love the look. I treated the seats to help keep away color transfer from wearing jeans and there is no eating in the truck. I won't risk a food stain. might lighten up on that in a year or two. LOL!
It was sitting there for 2 months and they never bothered to even look at the part. I would be going as high up the food chain as I could making them all aware of their total incompetence and lack of customer CARE
